After much anticipation, the Chase Sapphire Lounges are finally making their U.S. debut. The Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club will open at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) on May 16, featuring 11,640 square feet of stylish relaxation space. This Boston lounge follows the inaugural Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club in Hong Kong in October 2022 and the first Chase Sapphire Terrace in Austin in March 2023. Here’s an inside look at the new Chase-branded lounge in Boston, along with access details and tips for navigating potential crowds.
Where can you find the lounge in BOS?
The Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club is located in the new Terminal B to C Connector at Boston Logan Airport, positioned between gates B40 and B39. This connector enables passengers to move between the two terminals without needing to clear security twice. As this upgrade is recent, many online maps of BOS still indicate that terminals B and C are inaccessible without exiting security, but that’s no longer the case.
Terminals C and E are already linked by a post-security concourse, allowing passengers to seamlessly navigate between Terminals B, C, and E. (Note: Terminal D does not exist.) While this is excellent for travelers seeking the airport's full range of amenities—including lounges—it may lead to overcrowding in those lounges. In fact, aside from Delta and WestJet, which operate from Terminal A, all other airlines depart from Terminals B, C, or E.

What’s the interior atmosphere like?
Spanning an impressive 11,640 square feet, the lounge offers numerous cozy spots for pre-flight relaxation and layover replenishment. A central bar serves as the focal point of the midcentury modern-inspired design, surrounded by a main seating area and a smaller dining space with high tables and a taproom. Further inside, guests can find two wellness rooms equipped with antigravity massage chairs, a private nursing room, and two shower rooms with dual heads. Expansive windows flood the area with natural light while offering views of Boston Logan airfield and Boston Harbor.
The lounge's design and culinary offerings pay tribute to its Boston roots. Walls are adorned with original artwork by local artist Silvia López Chavez, while the cuisine is overseen by chef Douglass Williams, known for his popular South End restaurant, Mida. Coffee served in the lounge comes from Massachusetts-based Atomic Coffee Roasters, and local craft beers from Downeast, Wormtown, and Castle Island are available in the lounge’s signature taproom.

How to gain access to the lounge
The new Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club at BOS is part of the Priority Pass network. Cardholders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve® receive Priority Pass Select membership, ensuring their access. Additionally, many other high-fee cards also offer Priority Pass Select membership and access to the network’s 1,300+ lounges, including the Capital One Venture X Rewards Card ($395 annual fee), Hilton Honors Aspire Card ($450 annual fee), Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card ($650 annual fee, see rates and fees), and the Platinum Card® from American Express ($695 annual fee, see rates and fees).
Generally, Priority Pass members can access lounges on their travel date, irrespective of the airline or travel class, and can bring along two guests at no extra cost. This rule applies at the new Boston lounge for those holding a Chase Sapphire Reserve. However, Priority Pass members using other credit cards or who have paid for membership can access a Sapphire Lounge by the Club location only once a year for free (without guests). Any additional visits or guests will incur an entry fee.
As with other Priority Pass lounges, merely presenting a credit card won't grant entry; a valid Priority Pass must be shown. It's important to note that Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders are not permitted entry to the lounge.

Expanded options at Boston Logan
Fortunately, the new Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club at BOS is one of several Priority Pass options throughout the airport. If it's crowded, there are alternatives. At the beginning of Terminal E, and near the end of the Terminal C to E connector, you'll find the spacious Air France Lounge, offering a good variety of hot and cold food along with a full bar. In Terminal C, across from Gate C19, is simply called The Lounge, which is basic and not particularly noteworthy unless you really need a preflight drink.
For those with a Priority Pass linked to Chase Sapphire Reserve, there are even more options. Unlike Priority Pass memberships from Amex or Capital One, the Reserve card allows access to non-lounge alternatives—specific cafés, bars, and restaurants—where members receive a food and beverage credit ranging from $28 to $32 for up to two guests. Nearly 30 of these lounge alternatives exist, with three located in Boston Logan. At either of the New American restaurant Stephanies, located opposite Gate B24 or E7, you can get up to $56 off your bill. Near Gate C25, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse offers similar discounts and features hearty cuts, pizzas, salads, and breakfast items.
The future of Chase Sapphire Lounges by the Club
Looking beyond Boston, more Chase-branded lounges are on the horizon for various U.S. airports. While specific design details and opening dates remain unclear, the prevailing buzz suggests that Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) will be the next location, expected to open later this year. Additionally, lounges are planned for Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Las Vegas (LAS), New York (LGA), and San Diego (SAN), along with two other undisclosed sites.
