The cost for a visa extension is FJD$95, and all applicants must provide proof of an onward ticket and sufficient funds to cover their entire stay.

Visas for studying and working in Fiji

Fiji provides visas for study and employment, but these are granted on an individual basis, often with the support of the relevant Fijian institution or employer. Students need to present an acceptance letter from a Fijian university or school, proof of funds for their stay, a medical report for courses exceeding six months, and possibly a police clearance from their home country.

Work visas are available for non-Fijian citizens who can provide evidence of an employment contract, demonstrate proficiency in English, obtain a police clearance from their home country, and present a medical report for contracts lasting longer than six months.
