Train tour operator Railbookers has just unveiled its 2024 schedule for an 80-day global adventure, featuring rides on seven of the world’s most opulent train experiences.
Officially titled Around the World By Luxury Train, this remarkable journey departs from Vancouver on August 28, 2024, traversing 13 countries across four continents and culminating in Singapore in November. Travelers will enjoy 52 nights in premium accommodations across more than 20 cities, with a standout experience of 24 nights spent in private rail cabins, indulging in the finest of global train travel—all wrapped into one seamless booking.
Helen Cathcart/Photo courtesy of BelmondThe itinerary features GoldLeaf Service aboard Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Jasper; a twin cabin on Belmond Royal Scotsman’s Grand Western Scenic Wonders for a round trip from Edinburgh; a historic cabin on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train from Paris to Venice; a deluxe cabin on Maharajas Express’ The Indian Splendour Tour from Delhi to Mumbai; a deluxe cabin on the Golden Eagle Danube Express from Istanbul to Budapest; a Pullman suite on Rovos Rail from Pretoria to Cape Town; and concluding with another Pullman cabin on the Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train’s Essence of Malaysia.

Throughout the journey, transfers from airports, stations, and hotels are included, though international flights are not part of the package.
The complete 80-day journey, encompassing all seven train segments, starts at $113,599 per person, based on double occupancy. Bookings can also be made for individual segments. These itineraries represent just a fraction of the over 6,000 Railbookers itineraries available worldwide.
