Explore the Top Classic American Road Trip Routes Ideal for Electric Vehicles
As summer dwindles, Hipcamp aims to inspire your outdoor adventures. (We hate to be the bearers of fall news!) But they're not going solo.
In July, Hipcamp, a platform for discovering and booking unique camping locations, announced a collaboration with Subaru of America to provide 10 "electric vehicle-friendly road trips" across the country.
According to a press release shared with Dinogo, each itinerary features access to EV charging stations, accommodations suitable for pets and families, and routes that are inclusive for all across the country.
"At Hipcamp, our goal is to encourage more people to enjoy the great outdoors. With our new collection of routes that highlight EV charging spots, we aim to simplify planning your next adventure in nature," stated Alyssa Ravasi, founder and CEO of Hipcamp. "We’re here to enhance your camping experience by sharing some of our favorite attractions and national parks."

The itineraries feature the Blue Ridge Parkway route, starting at Shenandoah National Park and traversing the Smoky Mountains, as well as the Olympic Peninsula route, which kicks off in Seattle and meanders through the Olympic Peninsula, concluding at Kalaloch Beach.
Another option is the Utah's Mighty 5 itinerary, which launches in Moab and guides travelers through all of Utah's national parks, along with the Sierra Nevada route that begins at Yosemite National Park, including stops at Nevada Falls, Eastern Sierra Lakes, and Kings Canyon National Park before ending in Sequoia.

"At Subaru, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and all its splendor," stated Alan Bethke, Subaru's senior vice president of marketing. "We’re thrilled to partner with Hipcamp to offer a resource that helps drivers and their friends and family discover new adventures."
