Four Seasons debuts its second resort in Los Cabos

One of Mexico's top vacation spots can now proudly claim to have two luxurious Four Seasons resorts.
The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol has officially opened. Designed to evoke a Riviera village, the property features 96 guest rooms and suites, along with 61 residences, villas, and estates. Guests will have access to eight dining options, three swimming pools, a spa, a private art gallery, shops showcasing local artisans, the Kids For All Seasons club, and the Baja 360 Adventure Centre.
Located just 30 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and about 1.5 hours from the other Four Seasons property in the area, the Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas.
"When we set out to create a second Four Seasons experience in Los Cabos, our aim was to elevate the standard, crafting a unique yet complementary experience in this cherished destination," said Rainer Stampfer, Four Seasons president of global hotel operations. "Every aspect of this resort is meticulously designed to ensure not just a wonderful getaway, but a memorable holiday for a lifetime."

Guests arriving at the new Four Seasons will step into a cobblestone plaza before being ushered to a spacious sofa where they can enjoy a welcome drink and the refreshing Sea of Cortez breeze during check-in. The rooms and suites are designed as indoor-outdoor retreats, featuring retractable, floor-to-ceiling glass doors that offer sea views, terraces with private plunge pools, and outdoor showers. Accommodations vary greatly, ranging from 847-square-foot guest rooms to expansive 7,255-square-foot one-bedroom villas.
Dining options at the new resort include Sora, an oceanfront rooftop bar, and Palmeria, which offers a "Mediterranean tribute to the Baja Peninsula." Guests can also enjoy Cora, a beach club, and Bar Brisal, a laid-back pool bar serving light snacks near the adults-only pool. A Japanese-Peruvian restaurant named Cayao is set to open later this year, alongside Mercado, a cafe inspired by village life. Various culinary experiences, such as tequila tastings and pasta-making classes, will be available, and children under 5 can dine for free at the resort.
The resort's food and beverage program is led by executive chef Miguel Baltazar and food and beverage director Matt Myers, while the architectural vision and overall design are crafted by architect Robert Glazier along with design firms Meyer Davis and EDG Design.

Guests can explore a variety of activities, including scuba diving, snorkeling, and free diving through the Baja 360 Adventure Centre. There are also options for boat trips to El Arco, the iconic arch landmark of Los Cabos. For those seeking relaxation, the Tierra Mar Spa offers 10 treatment rooms for rejuvenating therapies.
"In an extraordinary luxury hospitality market, there is a genuine sense of enchantment in this last stretch of beachfront along the renowned Golden Corridor," said Richard Raab, general manager of the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol, in a statement. "With our dedicated team of hospitality professionals, the Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol experience is a daily homage to this enchanting landscape, Mexican culture, and contemporary, relaxed luxury."
