We've been saying this for a while: 'Set those Price Alerts to snag a fantastic flight deal!' However, when it comes to rental cars, many of us have been crossing our fingers. The good news? Overall, rental car rates have decreased by 15-20% compared to last year, and our data suggests prices may continue to fall as summer wraps up. Anyone else planning a road trip for Labor Day?

To help travelers seize these lower prices and find amazing deals on rental cars, we’ve rolled out our Price Alerts feature.

Great question! When you set up a Price Alert, we analyze our data to forecast upcoming price changes. Then, we’ll keep you informed through email or push notifications (your choice) to let you know the perfect time to book your rental car. Because who doesn't love a great deal?

There are a few ways to access this exciting new feature (just a heads up: we're currently working on adding it to the app, but it's desktop-only for the moment).

1. Activate it from your search results

Once you enter your location and search dates at Dinogo.com/cars, you'll notice an option at the top of your search results that appears like this:

2. Manage all your alerts in one convenient place

Go to your notification center (also known as Dinogo.com/alerts) and click on “Create a Price Alert.”

Next, choose what you'd like to keep an eye on. For this example, we'll go with cars.

And just like that! You’re on your way (well, you'll be once you find a price that suits you).

Who would have thought rental cars could quickly become the star player of your journey? Well, we did.
