Hyatt Studios will join Hyatt's Brand Explorer Award, among other initiatives.

In 2023, Hyatt introduced a new brand to its expanding portfolio, Hyatt Studios. This marks the company's inaugural "upper-midscale" hotel collection aimed at extended-stay travelers.
Hyatt Studios hotels will feature suites equipped with kitchen amenities, complimentary grab-and-go breakfasts, and a 24-hour market offering a variety of options for guests.
Currently, World of Hyatt members can book a stay at the inaugural Hyatt Studios location in Mobile, Alabama, set to open on July 1, 2025. Moreover, Hyatt has confirmed that Hyatt Studios hotels will be part of the Brand Explorer Award, with eligible stays earning World of Hyatt points and qualifying nights. Hyatt includes Hyatt Studios in its Brand Explorer Award program.
As a World of Hyatt member who often stays at various properties within the hotel portfolio, you may qualify for a Brand Explorer Award. After visiting five different Hyatt brands, members can earn a free night award valid for Category 1-4 hotels. Additionally, there is no deadline to complete these five qualifying stays, allowing members to progress toward the free night at their own pace.

In addition to the opportunity for a free night award via the Brand Explorer Award program, stays at Hyatt Studios locations will also grant members one tier-qualifying night credit for each eligible night spent.
World of Hyatt elite status provides various benefits and perks based on the level achieved within a calendar year. The tiers for Hyatt's elite status are as follows:
- Discoverist: Stay 10 nights, host three meetings and events, or earn 25,000 base points (equivalent to $5,000 in spending).
- Explorist: Stay 30 nights, host 10 meetings and events, or earn 50,000 base points (equivalent to $10,000 in spending).
- Globalist: Stay 60 nights, host 20 meetings and events, or earn 100,000 base points (equivalent to $20,000 in spending).
To achieve Lifetime Globalist status, members need to accumulate 1 million base points (equivalent to $200,000 in spending); there are no required minimum stays or meetings to qualify for this status level.
Hyatt members will accrue points for their stays at Hyatt Studios hotels.
While members will earn Hyatt base points for every eligible dollar spent at Hyatt Studios, the rate is half of what they typically earn at other Hyatt properties. At Hyatt Studios, members receive 2.5 base points per $1 spent (compared to the usual 5 points per $1).
Additionally, World of Hyatt cobranded cardholders will earn 2.5 base points plus 4 bonus points per $1 when using their World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card.
