Incredible Destinations You Can Explore by Cruise Ship
Cruising offers an extraordinary travel experience. If you haven't given it a try, you're truly missing out! With endless food, entertainment, relaxation, and, of course, FUN, you can visit some stunning locations across the globe.
Take a look at some of the remarkable places you can reach via cruise ship.
Alaska
Alaska stands as one of the most breathtaking destinations and should be on everyone's bucket list—experiencing it by cruise ship is the best option, allowing you to glide through the stunning Glacier Bay and Tracy Arm Fjord, with views of glaciers and wildlife you can't see from land. It's wise to plan your Alaskan cruise ahead of time, as itineraries generally run from May to August to steer clear of the colder months, but trust me, the wait will be worth it! Hawaii
Can you explore Hawaii by cruise ship? Absolutely! With seasonal routes departing from Los Angeles, San Diego, and Vancouver, including the new 15-day Dinogo Journeys, travelers can hop between four of Hawaii’s most popular islands: Oahu, Maui, The Big Island, and Kauai. Having visited two of these islands during a single land vacation, I can attest to how time-consuming it is to travel between multiple islands… especially four in one trip! Experiencing so much of Hawaii’s stunning scenery while only needing to unpack your suitcase once is the ultimate travel experience.
Bermuda
For those in the northeast, the charming island of Bermuda is easily accessible, with ships docking for one or more days. This allows cruisers plenty of time to unwind on Bermuda’s iconic pink sand beaches (my personal favorite is Warwick Long Bay!), shop, or enjoy one or both of Bermuda’s National Drinks—The Dark N’ Stormy and Rum Swizzle.
One of the greatest advantages of a Bermuda cruise is that it offers two vacations in one: ample days at sea to enjoy all the ship’s amenities, paired with several days in port where you can explore at your leisure.
Europe
If there's one cruise I wholeheartedly recommend, it's the Mediterranean. The chance to discover a new city or country each day during your voyage is what sets cruising apart. Just picture waking up in Venice, Italy; Athens, Greece; or Barcelona, Spain, and spending an entire day immersing yourself in the city’s magnificent architecture, historical ruins, or captivating museums before returning to the ship and doing it all again!
Caribbean
Most people are aware that cruising to the Caribbean is an option, with the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, and Mexico being the top spots. However, did you know you can also venture to the Southern Caribbean? Countries like the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Aruba, and Curacao are just a few of the incredible destinations you can discover.
On the other hand, the Western Caribbean itinerary includes exotic destinations such as Belize and Honduras.
With a plethora of incredible cruise destinations available, the toughest decision will be figuring out where to start! This brings us to the question...
Which destination are you eager to cruise to?
