Insider tips
Make sure to utilize those travel credits. If you had to cancel a trip in 2020 or 2021 because of COVID-19, you likely have unused travel credits waiting to be used. Think of it as a gift from your past self. However, these credits do expire – here’s how to ensure you don’t let them go to waste:
- Check your inbox. To see what credits you have available, sift through your old emails – chances are you received a confirmation with details about your refunded credits.
- Access your accounts. Another way to discover your unused airline credits is by logging into your travel account(s) and checking your profile – there, you should find your available eCredits.
- Review the details. Once you identify these credits, make sure to read your travel brand's policy to understand how to use them and find out exactly when they expire.
- If you're unsure, ask for help. If you discover your unused travel credits have expired, reach out to customer service for assistance – they can guide you on your options.
