Om-azing! Sunrise yoga classes are now available at Disneyland
This exciting new experience allows guests to enter the park before opening and get their muscles warmed up for a day of fun.
Beginning April 1, guests staying overnight at any Disneyland hotel – including the Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa – can enjoy yoga sessions inside Disneyland or Disney California Adventure on select days.
Eager to stretch and enjoy Disneyland with fewer crowds? Here’s everything you need to know about the new in-park yoga classes and other fitness activities available in and around the park.
Sunrise yoga sessions at Disneyland
DISNEYLAND RESORTThe sunrise yoga sessions at Disneyland cater to all levels, from seasoned yogis to newcomers. The exact location of each class is based on the day’s park schedule, featuring spots like the Space Mountain concourse in Tomorrowland.
Regardless of where the class takes place, you'll enjoy the unique chance to witness the sunrise over a nearly empty park while you harmonize your mind and body. No need to worry about the early start; you’ll have ample time to return to your hotel, freshen up, and grab breakfast before diving into a full day of fun.
Yoga mats are supplied for your use during the class, which wraps up with light snacks and a bottle of water. You'll also receive a digital photo download and a towel to remember your experience.
Classes are held on select dates and are priced at $89 per person; advance bookings are necessary. Reservations can be made through the Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.
Yoga at Disney California Adventure
DISNEYLAND RESORTYou can also enjoy a relaxing yoga session at Disney California Adventure during the early morning hours, before the park opens to the general public. Classes may take place in various scenic spots throughout the park, including the nature-themed Redwood Creek area.
Alongside traditional yoga sequences, this class features guided meditation enhanced by calming sounds and visuals to help alleviate any vacation stress. It is suitable for all fitness levels and provides yoga mats for use during the session.
Classes are available on select dates and are priced at $30 per person; prior reservations are necessary. You can secure your spot through the Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.
Other fitness classes available at Disneyland
DISNEYLAND RESORTIf yoga isn't your preferred form of exercise, Disneyland provides a range of alternative fitness classes both within the parks and at its hotels.
Other offerings include paddleboard fitness sessions at the pool of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, tai chi or gentle stretching classes in the Eureka Fitness Center at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, and a high-intensity boot camp or early morning power walk at Disney California Adventure.
Classes typically last between 30 to 45 minutes, with prices varying from $25 to $30.
Final thoughts
All fitness classes require reservations, which can be made online, via phone, or by visiting the Tenaya Stone Spa in person. Note that classes held within Disneyland and Disney California Adventure do not include park admission, and participants must exit the park after the session ends.
Classes are open to adults aged 18 and above. Guests aged 14 to 17 may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian and with written permission.
