The Beverly Hills Hotel has unveiled two exquisitely restored bungalows, each reflecting the distinctive styles of Monroe and Hughes, who were regular visitors.

This is part of an ongoing restoration of 21 out of the hotel’s 23 bungalows. Five of them are themed around celebrities, with bungalows dedicated to Elizabeth Taylor and Frank Sinatra launched in 2016, and a Charlie Chaplin-inspired bungalow arriving this July.

Bungalow 1: A tribute to Marilyn Monroe

Born as Norma Jeane Mortenson, Marilyn Monroe became the epitome of glamour and youthful allure. The bungalow’s design captures the essence of the Southern California lifestyle she adored, according to the hotel.

The space exudes a distinctly feminine energy, featuring sensuous, curvaceous furniture, vibrant, abstract rugs, and opulent gold-leaf ceilings.

– Feeling hungry like Hughes? Enjoy mini roast beef sandwiches, inspired by the legendary hotel request to have them placed under a tree for him every night.
