The Life-Sized Polly Pocket House Is Now Up for Airbnb Rentals — A Perfect '90s Nostalgia Trip

If you grew up in the '90s, you might recall the film Life Size, where a doll magically transforms into a human. With the new Airbnb Icon offering, you can embody the doll yourself.

To mark Polly Pocket's 35th birthday, Mattel has teamed up with Airbnb to transform the beloved four-inch doll into a host. Polly is welcoming guests into her vintage 1994 Slumber Party Fun compact, providing nostalgic sleepover experiences that fulfill your childhood fantasies. (She joins an impressive lineup of previous Icon stays, including Mattel’s Barbie Malibu Dream House, Disney and Pixar’s Up house, and Ted Lasso’s “Richmond” pub, among others.)

Travel to Polly's hometown of Littleton, Massachusetts, where you'll discover a perfectly scaled replica of her heart-shaped two-story abode. Guests can wander through the compact, uncovering all the delightful surprises hidden within.

What’s a Polly experience without her signature closet? Step into the doll's world by trying on some of her beloved vintage coats, shawls, and dresses, all crafted from that familiar gummy texture we adore. (Just a reminder, please resist the urge to chew on these—they’re too stylish for that!)

Once you find the ideal outfit, head over to Polly’s vanity, where you'll discover drawers brimming with nostalgic treasures like press-on nails, stickers, butterfly clips, chunky scrunchies, and much more.

The stunning kitchen is filled with nostalgic '90s treats, with little surprises hidden in jars and drawers for you to discover. I particularly enjoyed finding the real Polly-Phone to leave a special message for our little friend.

A day spent in this purple plastic time capsule wouldn’t be complete without crafting your very own charm bracelet or necklace to share with your BFF. After an exciting afternoon, guests can keep the slumber party vibes alive by cuddling up on the couch, turning on the TV, and inserting a video cassette ... that’s how you know we’ve truly stepped back in time. Just a few feet away is Polly’s life-sized Action Park Tent, perfect for snuggling under a glow-in-the-dark starry ceiling.

The stay will welcome guests from September 12 to September 14, celebrating Polly’s 1989 debut, with this unique experience priced at $89 per person. Booking requests will be available on airbnb.com starting August 21 for one of the three one-night stays, accommodating up to four guests each. For those who can’t secure an overnight stay, there will be 21 chances for a daytime adventure where up to 12 guests can explore all that Polly and her world have to offer.
