The new book '24H Hong Kong' reveals a fresh perspective of the city

If you think Hong Kong is just about bustling streets and towering skyscrapers, Karl Hab's latest book '24H HONG KONG' will change your view.
Following the success of '24H LOS ANGELES', the Parisian photographer captures the essence of Hong Kong with vibrant aerial images, serene moments, and explorations of less-traveled areas like the industrial district of Chai Wan.
'My goal is to truly express my interpretation of travel,' says Hab, who has spent over 14 years documenting urban life on the streets of Paris.
'I’m known for my understated style – I prefer staying behind the scenes to highlight the rare and quiet beauty of my surroundings,' he adds.
A self-taught artist with a background in aerospace engineering, Hab picked up photography at a young age and has been passionate about it since he was about 12 years old.
'I’m always on the move – whether wandering through Hong Kong’s subway or capturing views from planes and helicopters, I explore the world with my cameras in hand,' says Hab.
'For me, cities are where the beauty lies. I’m drawn to their sunsets, vibrant colors, and dynamic movement,' he explains.
Through his stunning photography, travelers can virtually explore the quiet corners and hidden gems of Hong Kong in the gallery above.
