The World’s Top 50 Bars of 2015

You might stumble upon an amazing new bar by chance, but why leave it to luck?

When luck doesn’t strike, and you’re craving a bourbon fix, look no further than the 2015 ranking of the world’s 50 best bars.

Revealed by Drinks International magazine at a ceremony in London, the list is the result of votes cast by over 400 global industry experts.

The 2015 list features bars from 27 cities across 19 countries.

Europe continues to dominate the rankings, with Drinks International noting that 23 bars from the continent make the top 50.

Bars from the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Cyprus, Russia, Italy, and Spain are celebrated this year.

For the fourth consecutive year, London’s Artesian has claimed the title of ‘World’s Best Bar.’

London leads all cities with nine bars in the top 50, including Happiness Forgets and The American Bar at The Savoy, both of which join Artesian in the top 10.

Bars from New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and Seattle also make an appearance on the list.

The United States boasts 14 bars in the 2015 ranking, reflecting the country’s vibrant and diverse bar culture, according to Drinks International.

Asia’s bar scene continues to grow, with five establishments making it into the top 50.

The highest-ranked Asian bar is Singapore’s 28 Hongkong Street, which is ranked as the seventh-best bar globally. Bars from Tokyo and Hong Kong also made the list.

Australia has four bars on the list, all of which are located in Melbourne and Sydney.

Two bars from Latin America made the cut, with Licoreria Limantour in Mexico ranking 20th and La Factoria from Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, returning to the list in 45th place.

The Middle East was represented by Imperial Craft in Tel Aviv (17th) and Zuma Dubai, which claimed 44th place just ahead of La Factoria.
