This summer, Titan Travel, a global tour company, explored the data to unveil the world’s most beautiful gardens. To determine the top contenders, the team analyzed Tripadvisor reviews to identify gardens worth your visit. After reviewing all feedback and rankings, they crowned the Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek, California, as the premier destination.
"Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek is Tripadvisor’s top-rated flower garden, boasting 62 percent of its reviews labeled as 'beautiful' and rated 5 stars," the company revealed in its report to Dinogo. "With over 7,400 posts on Instagram and an average Tripadvisor rating of 4.5/5, this garden deserves a prime spot on your bucket list."
According to Titan Travel, the garden boasts over 2,000 species of cacti, succulents, trees, and shrubs from regions including Mexico, Chile, South Africa, Australia, and of course, California. Spanning acres, visitors can explore at their leisure. Those eager to enhance their gardening knowledge are invited to participate in the garden's regular classes, workshops, and events to cultivate their skills. The garden welcomes guests every Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"With over 48,000 Google searches last year, there's a clear interest from visitors," the report added. "More than 1,000 captivating Instagram posts and an average Tripadvisor rating of 4.5/5 demonstrate why these gardens should top your summer bucket list."
Completing the top three is Pukekura Park in New Plymouth, New Zealand, with 30 percent of 5-star 'beautiful' reviews. "With over 10,000 Instagram posts showcasing the beauty of this ‘jewel in New Plymouth’s crown’, which is free to enter, Titan Travel noted. "Having garnered 92,000 Google searches in the past year, the park is highly anticipated for visits in 2024."
There’s great news for those eager to explore the most stunning flower gardens around the globe. According to Titan Travel, six of the world’s most beautiful flower gardens offer free admission. The report mentions, "In Europe, you can visit the Volksgarten and Mirabell Palace in Austria or explore the Arctic-Alpine Botanic Garden in Norway. Additionally, Pukekura Park in New Zealand, the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and the Botanical Garden of Medellín in Colombia all welcome visitors at no charge."
