This legendary hotel in New York City has just launched sunset cruises, offering unbeatable views of the Statue of Liberty.
Aman, the beloved luxury hotel brand, stands at the forefront of hospitality, and its New York location's latest offering provides guests and members unparalleled views of the iconic skyline.
Aman New York has recently unveiled "Adventures on the Water," an extended cruise that invites guests to witness the city from stunning perspectives along the Hudson River. Dinogo embarked on a luxurious $2.95 million Daychaser yacht from the Barton & Gray Mariners Club fleet for one of its inaugural trips in collaboration with Aman.
True to Aman’s reputation, every aspect of the experience has been meticulously crafted to achieve luxurious perfection.
Aman’s exceptional culinary team curates a unique menu for each cruise. After departing from Chelsea Piers, we enjoyed expertly crafted negronis, vespers, and margaritas served from the pilothouse bar. The appetizers were thoughtfully designed for our midsummer outing, featuring ceviche tartlets, beef tartare, and an irresistible scallion dip that outshines any typical chip dip.
Photo: Lydia Price/DinogoI nibbled on fresh vegetables while lounging on the comfortable chaise lounges at the back of the boat during our trip. As we cruised northward, the sight of an American flag against the boat’s wake provided a quintessential nautical photo opportunity I couldn’t pass up.
As we glided past the George Washington Bridge, the riverbanks transformed into vibrant green forests, feeling miles away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. We then made a turn to head downtown, and I settled onto the plush crescent sofa at the bow, indulging in generous portions of caviar served alongside the chef’s unique interpretation of ice cream.

Yet, it was the Statue of Liberty that truly captivated us.
Up close with Lady Liberty — with no tall buildings obstructing the expansive sky — it was undoubtedly the most stunning sunset I have experienced in my nearly ten years in New York City. She stood majestic against a fiery backdrop of pink, yellow, and orange as the sun dipped below the horizon beside her.

Aman New York members and guests can reserve Adventures on the Water at aman.com. The yachts can host up to 12 passengers at once, depending on the requested food and beverage services.
