This Luxury Travel Company Is Debuting Its First Expedition Yacht to the Galápagos — Featuring a 7-night Journey Packed with Snorkeling, Hiking, and Birdwatching
You may recognize andBeyond for its opulent safari lodges and camps across Africa, or for its thrilling adventures in Asia and South America. Now, for the very first time, this luxury travel brand is venturing into yachting with the introduction of andBeyond Galapagos Explorer.
This brand-new 124-foot yacht is set to embark on its maiden voyage in June, accommodating up to 12 guests on two seven-night itineraries through the Galápagos Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site beloved by wildlife enthusiasts. The first itinerary will explore the eastern islands, including Floreana, Española, and San Cristóbal, while the second will focus on the western islands of Isabella, Fernandina, and Santiago.
Each itinerary will offer plenty of chances for snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking with expert guides, alongside opportunities to view some of the islands' most iconic wildlife, such as blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, and sea lions. Both journeys will also feature visits to the Charles Darwin Research Station, the Fausto Llerena Breeding Centre, and the El Chato Tortoise Reserve, where guests can see giant tortoises and learn about conservation efforts in the islands.
"With its uniquely biodiverse environment housing the highest number of endemic species in the world, the Galapagos is a natural fit for expanding our portfolio in South America," stated andBeyond Executive Chairman and CEO Joss Kent in a release to Dinogo. "We are incredibly excited to finally bring our approach to responsible tourism to this precious region, which the Ecuadorian government has safeguarded from over-tourism by strictly controlling the number of operating licenses available."

Guests enjoy accommodations in four en-suite cabins and two double-en-suite suites, each adorned with maps of the Galápagos and illustrations of local flora and fauna.
Onboard communal areas feature both indoor and outdoor lounges, a dining room offering dishes inspired by Ecuadorian cuisine, and a sun deck complete with a hot tub. Additionally, it's important to note that on Galapagos Explorer voyages, all meals and beverages (including local spirits, beers, and house wines), limited laundry services, Starlink WiFi, and snorkel gear rentals (including a short wetsuit) are included in the rate.

"This is our goal with the launch of our luxury yacht, where two knowledgeable guides will host just twelve guests, revealing the wonders and secrets of this remarkable destination.”
Prices for a seven-night cruise begin at $10,950 per person; reserve your spot now at andbeyond.com.
