US Hotels are marking Pride Month with special events and discounts

Throughout June (and for many cities celebrating at different times of the year), there’s a wealth of exciting Pride events to enjoy. These range from grand parades and lively concerts to thought-provoking panels and lectures on the history and ongoing challenges of the LGBTQ+ community.

Here are some of our top picks, spanning from the Big Apple to the City by the Bay.

Celebrate your Pride in New York City

Heading to New York City for the Pride March on June 30? Consider staying with one of NYC Pride's official hotel partners for exclusive rates, free drinks, and access to special events.

Participating hotels include the Moxy NYC Chelsea (rates from $298), the Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel (rates from $255), and the Hard Rock Hotel New York (rates from $289).

A selection of Hyatt hotels are also embracing the Pride spirit. At The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel (one of New York's most iconic properties), guests can enjoy a special Pride cocktail, with a portion of the sales benefiting the Ali Forney Center. The hotel will also host a jazz and drag brunch every Saturday at noon and 3 p.m., along with a "Stay with Pride" package offering room discounts, upgrades, and drink vouchers.

Other Hyatt locations celebrating Pride in New York include Andaz 5th Avenue, which will feature specialty cocktails, with 20% of the bar’s June sales going to a local charity, and Thompson Central Park New York, where the restaurant Parker’s will offer a Pride-themed cabaret brunch on June 8, complete with drag performances, DJs, and rainbow-inspired food.

For another great option, consider Smyth Tribeca, which is offering rooms for $355 per night if booked by June 7. California hosts Pride events across the state, with two major celebrations taking place in Los Angeles the weekend of June 9 and in San Francisco during the final weekend of June.
