WestJet is the newest airline to provide complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire fleet.

The Canadian budget airline WestJet is joining the trend of offering free Wi-Fi services.
The airline announced on Wednesday that it will roll out free Wi-Fi fleetwide later this year, partnering with SpaceX's Starlink satellite provider to provide this service.
The initial jets with the new Starlink Wi-Fi will be operational before the end of 2024. WestJet aims to retrofit its entire narrow-body fleet by the end of 2025, followed by wide-body planes by 2026.
WestJet's Wi-Fi offering will be in collaboration with Canadian telecom leader Telus, as part of what both companies are referring to as a "multi-year strategic partnership."

To access WestJet Wi-Fi, you must be a member of the WestJet Rewards frequent flyer program. Joining the program is simple and can be done anytime before your flight.
After signing up, you’ll gain access to unlimited free Wi-Fi across all your devices.
WestJet currently provides paid Panasonic Wi-Fi on select aircraft, but this service is significantly slower and less dependable than Starlink.

"Through our strategic collaboration with TELUS, we are establishing a new benchmark in the Canadian airline sector by providing Starlink's groundbreaking inflight connectivity. Thanks to TELUS, we can offer this onboard experience to WestJet Rewards members at no cost," stated John Weatherill, WestJet's chief commercial officer, in a statement.
From this statement, it appears that TELUS is supporting WestJet's complimentary Wi-Fi service, similar to how T-Mobile backs free Wi-Fi in the U.S. with WestJet's codeshare partner, Delta Air Lines.
However, while Delta may have made headlines with its fleetwide implementation of free Wi-Fi, the Atlanta-based airline has partnered with Viasat to provide fast and free Wi-Fi across much of its fleet. Viasat has been a reliable internet service provider, but the Starlink network delivers even quicker download and upload speeds.
Starlink ranks among the fastest and most dependable satellite Wi-Fi providers and has quickly become a favored option for new airline Wi-Fi setups. In the U.S., Hawaiian Airlines and charter carrier JSX have already introduced Starlink internet, while internationally, Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand, and airBaltic have announced partnerships with Starlink.
I tried out Starlink's inflight Wi-Fi on a JSX flight and was astonished by the speed and reliability of the service. Download speeds reached over 150 Mbps, allowing me to stream shows and participate in video calls without any buffering or lag.
