During my three-night stay at this hotel, I opted for the Executive Room. Upon check-in, complimentary welcome drinks and towels were provided. However, the drinks were overly sweet. The check-in process was efficiently handled. The Executive Room itself was quite spacious, featuring a fruit basket, a large wardrobe, and a comfortably sized bathroom that never felt cramped. A notable feature was the expansive floor-to-ceiling mirror, perfect for dressing up. I particularly admired the warm brown wooden flooring. Additionally, the room included a balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows that ensured ample natural light. Unfortunately, the soundproofing was inadequate; during the night, noises from neighboring rooms, including TV sounds and door movements, were clearly audible. The rubber strips on the bathroom door were also peeling off slightly. Every morning, there was a bell-like sound from a nearby street, potentially disrupting late risers. The hotel used traditional keys rather than card keys. The service staff were exceptionally polite and responsive to any inquiries. One of the doormen noticed me taking photos and kindly suggested visiting the poolside for better photo opportunities, even escorting me there. The hotel amenities included a spa (advance booking recommended), a gym, a bar, and a restaurant. The swimming pool was disappointingly small, suitable mainly for leisurely soaking rather than serious swimming. The breakfast choices were passable, although lacking variety and some items seemed store-bought and dry, like bread and desserts. The yogurt was tasty but topped with excessively sweet sauce. The coffee was weak despite being freshly brewed. On the positive side, the noodles were decent, and their freshly made Vietnamese pancakes were a highlight. However, the selection of cheeses and cereals was limited, and Chinese noodles and rice were also available. Personally, I found their noodles particularly enjoyable. Strangely, my Chinese companion was relocated to different rooms twice without clear explanation, and eventually, I was downgraded to a lower room category. The hotel appeared to cater mostly to business clientele, reflected in its high occupancy rate. Overall, it is a solid hotel with excellent service. I would consider staying here again, hoping for improvements in the breakfast menu.

Thật không may, cách cách âm rất tệ. Giữa đêm, bạn có thể nghe rõ tiếng TV từ phòng bên cạnh, tiếng mở cửa và tiếng lạch cạch của bánh xe hành lý. Dải cao su trên cửa phòng tắm cũng bong tróc một chút. Mỗi sáng vào những giờ nhất định có tiếng chuông như chuông trường qua đường, và những du khách muốn ngủ nướng có thể bị đánh thức. Chìa khóa có thể để lại tại quầy, không phải loại thẻ phòng. Nhân viên phục vụ bên trong rất lịch sự và có thể giúp đỡ bất kỳ câu hỏi nào ngay lập tức. Một trong những nhân viên cửa đã thấy tôi chụp ảnh và đặc biệt giới thiệu tôi đi bơi để chụp ảnh và đã dẫn tôi đi đó. Khách sạn cũng có spa (nên đặt trước) và phòng tập thể dục, cũng như quán bar và nhà hàng. Hồ bơi rất nhỏ và chỉ có thể sử dụng để ngâm nước, khó để bơi lội một cách nghiêm túc. Lựa chọn bữa sáng trong khách sạn cũng được, nhưng không may là quá ít món ngon... Bánh mì và món tráng miệng cảm giác như mua bên ngoài và khô. Sữa chua ngon nhưng sốt trên mặt quá ngọt. Cà phê rất nhạt và mới pha. Mỳ Ý khá ngon và họ cũng có bánh xèo mặn Việt Nam tươi làm, bạn có thể thử. Không có nhiều lựa chọn trong món phô mai và ngũ cốc, cũng có mì Trung Quốc và cơm. Cá nhân tôi nghĩ mì của họ rất ngon. Người bạn Trung Quốc đi du lịch cùng tôi đã bí ẩn bị chuyển phòng hai lần. Lý do không rõ. Tôi nghe nói rằng cuối cùng tôi đã được chuyển xuống loại phòng thấp hơn. Tỉ lệ lấp đầy khách sạn rất cao, chủ yếu là khách doanh nhân. Nói chung, đây là một khách sạn rất tốt. Tôi sẽ ở lại đây lần nữa. Tôi hy vọng thực đơn bữa sáng có thể tốt hơn một chút!

As usual, Avani Hai Phong is always my one & only choice in Hai Phong. I love the vintage vibe throughout the building which you can only find in this hotel. The room is very well maintained and cozy. The service is extremely amazing from the team (Front Office / Cheers pub / Housekeeping) especially Thảo & Phương front desk team. I would probably recommend this worthy hotel to all.

The Avani Hai Phong Harbor View Hotel was the first hotel I have ever stay on my very first trip to the County Vietnam. This hotel reminds me in some way of the old Raffles hotel in Singapore. The property gives you a sense of the old times.

The Employees was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Hotel is a great building and the premises are very nice. A special thanks to Mrs. Ha Phuong, she gave me the feeling that i am as guest are something special. Many thanks for that. I wish the whole Team of the Hotel continued Success and fun at work.
