Great location and view. Close walk to downtown and great ocean view from rooms and pool. Good breakfast included. Clean, well maintained and good atmosphere. Room is large with good water pressure in shower. Close walk to good water front restaurants and cafes.

Wir durften 4 Nächte in diesem tollen Hotel übernachten. Die Zimmer sind sehr grosszügig und jene mit Meerblick natürlich noch schöner. Der Pool hat eine gute Grösse und ist sehr gepflegt. Es gibt auch ein Jacuzzi gleich neben dem Pool. Die Fitnessgeräte haben wir nicht benutzt, aber auch dieser Raum ist mit Meersicht. Zur Promenade am Meer entlang gibt es einen direkten Zugang und in 15 Minuten ist man in Praia mit vielen Restaurants. Das Frühstück ist ganz lecker und Carolina und Mafalda, die jeden Morgen im Frühstücks-Service gearbeitet haben, waren extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufgestellt.

We had a delightful stay at the Atlantida Mar in Praia da Vitorio; it was our first stop in the Azores and it had a convenient location, a helpful staff, and a fabulous breakfast. We loved the views, and particularly enjoyed the path by the coast into town.

Hotel poco masificado en la época que fuimos, un gran punto a favor. Comenzando por la recepción y sus explicaciones siguiendo por el servicio de limpieza y extraordinario desayuno. Las instalaciones buenas y las camas cómodas. Nos tocó habitación en la última planta con vistas del mar y el paseo. Más no se puede pedir. Repetible!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean and had a great view over the pool and sea. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was plentiful and always well presented. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There were several restaurants a few minutes walk from the hotel and the town was reached by a short stroll along the path around the bay.

The positive reviews for this property are well-deserved. The view of the sea, the mountains and the beautiful grounds create a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The Staff are very professional and caring. I would like to recognize one of the kitchen staff, Malfada. She always greets the guests when they arrive for breakfast with a big smile and seems genuinely interested in guest's experiences.

A reasonably priced 4 star hotel on the edge of town close to 2 restaurants. Immaculately clean, helpful staff, and we enjoyed our third floor suite with balcony, separate seating/kitchenette area and bath. Husband was brave enough to try out the outside pool and others enjoyed the hot tub. As it was early in the season the sun loungers weren’t out yet but when the sun came out, we made good use of the balcony till about 13.00 watching the boats. Very good breakfast regularly topped up with freshly cooked hot food.

Gostámos muito de ficar no Atlantida Mar Hotel. Os quartos com vista mar dão uma sensação de tranquilidade e todos os funcionários são super simpáticos! Sitio perfeito para descansar. Pequeno almoço muito saboroso, também este servido numa sala com vista para o mar.

This is the second time that we stayed a week at Atlantida Mar. We wanted to come back since we had such a wonderful experience the first time in 2018. Our stay was just as fabulous. We stayed in a Junior suite with ocean view. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable with a mini kitchen and plenty of seating. Seeing the sunrise from the bed in good weather is a big plus. The breakfast is simply delicious and by far the best breakfast we have had in any hotel. There is something for everyone’s taste. I was particularly a fan of the fresh goat cheese, with the crunchy whole wheat rolls and the flaky Portuguese pastry. The amenities are lovely. Since we traveled in October, we particularly enjoyed the sauna after an ocean swim every day. The pool and hot tub are clean and offer ocean view as well. But most importantly a place stands or falls with its personnel. The people who work at Atlantida Mar are all very friendly, helpful and professional. A special Thanks to Natacha and Paulo at the front desk who went above and beyond to help us organize transportation and answer our many questions. We can highly recommend this hotel. If it weren’t for the ‘red eye flight’ and the jet lag, we would come here for long weekends to recharge.

First, my flight arrived early in the morning, 9am, and I had contacted the hotel regarding an early check-in. Someone promptly messaged me and stated that they would try, but that I could store by bags if necessary. Upon arrival, I was told it would be about an hour, so I went to take a stroll on the nice promenade along the bay. There was already a paddleboarder and surfer at the break just down from the hotel. Being a former surfer, it was fun watching them catch these beautiful waves. The room was ready about 10:30Am and it was nice to have a comfortable rest after being sidetracked after a flight cancellation the day before. I have a mountain view room with some happy cows grazing in the rock-fenced pastures across the road. There are two restaurants real close, but I wanted a late afternoon snack and walked down to Delman Restaurante and Lounge. It was nice to see a lot of people walking on the promenade and young people watching futbol on the TVs there. I slept great, there were plenty of channels on the TV, but wonder in Europe why they only seem to have CNN. I guess I have to keep getting US news on the internet. The room had a water kettle and some instant coffee packets, so I was able to get coffee before the complimentary breakfast opened at 7am. I guess I'm still on US time and really don't think I would ever be ready for the post-7pm jantar! I was cordially greeted at the breakfast by Carolina, who showed me the buffet and told me to ask her if I needed help with anything or had any questions. She was also very interested in my visits to the other islands, especially Corvo and Graciosa. The buffet had a myriad of choices: many different methods of coffee, juices, fruits, cereals, cheeses and hams, bread and rolls, pastries(including a very good pastel de nata), eggs scrambled and fried, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and a few things uncommon to me at breakfast-baked beans and green beans with mushrooms. The pool area seemed real nice, but I was not about to take a dip! The employees I encountered here mostly spoke English, but were patient with my beginner Portuguese. This is a great hotel for a visit to Praia, but I do recommend staying in Angra also, as I did.

Our stay was amazing the hotel personnel, kind and friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast immensely. Breakfast attendance Carolina , and Mafalda Where charming and kind, which added to our perfect experience of the hotel next time we in Praia we will definitely choose Atlantida Mar Hotel. We are currently staying in this hotel and do not want to even wait until our check out for writing my review. We were warmly welcomed at check in and got surprisingly good and very clean rooms. The staff is extremely kind especially Carolina Santos.
