Courtyard Bonaire Dive Resort @courtyardbonaire So after you check in they will take you in a golf cart to your room as there are no cars allowed on that part of the property (optional since its not a far walk) From there i got to my room which is the 1 bedroom waterfront villa. This villa is very spacious and dope. Comes with 2 full bathrooms and a fridge even has a little stove top to cook if we wanted to and all the utensils necessary. Im so grateful to the staff here who welcomed me with some nice words, a cake and even some gifts for my 40th birthday. That was such a pleasant surprise which im honored by. This resort is very chill and laid back as well as pretty quiet. Even despite being so close to the airport the sounds of the planes are definitely not a bother at all. Having Platinum Elite status is definitely an amazing thing to have. It comes with free breakfast every day annnnnddddddd a $20 food and beverage credit i can use daily at the restaurant & bar. Cant beat that. Of course i hit the gym too it isnt that big but has all the things essential to getting in a good workout while on vacation. There is a pool on site which is nice and there are some lounge chairs as well as cabanas for you to relax in. The hotel is not far from a lot of things and comes with free parking. You should definitely rent a car to explore. There is an awesome water activities shop on property to help you organize your excursions and you get a discount for being a guest at the hotel. I highly reccomend you do at least the snorkeling tour with them. Bonaire is just right up my alley being so chill and laid back like myself. Excited to explore and learn more about the island!

So, there have been people complaining last year about the swimming pool. Sometimes chemicals can get off balance. But, now, in January 2022 it is beautiful and refreshing! The staff has been extremely accommodating at the front desk, restaurant and housekeepers. My housekeeper even wrote a sweet not back to me when I left a note and tip. YES, you are supposed to tip housekeeping staff! ($5-$10/day is what I do). I am posting photos so that you can see how pristine the pool and resort are.

After a multi night stay: The grounds are well maintained and the common areas clean. The room we stayed in had no maintenance issues and the housekeeping did a thorough job during each visit (housekeeping service is offered every other day). The Front Desk staff is polite and willing to assist. The in room TV offers multiple Dutch language, English and local channels. The Wi-Fi worked without any issues. As others have mentioned, no idea why this is branded as a "Courtyard" (a business brand in my mind), but that is irrelevant to the quality of the stay. Peaceful and conveniently located for the island exploration.

Not impressed with Greg the bar manager who uses the current restrictions to close as early as he can so he can get off home despite there being guests to be served a good 15 minutes before closing. Appears to have an hysterical panic attack at anything that doesn’t agree with his plans.

The worst experience at a marriott anywhere in the world. Mold all over the bedroom and bathroom ceilings. No management on duty during the weekend to talk to . I finally got a hold of the GM one week after we checked out, he said the right things on the phone but he never followed up or answered my messages afterwards. Stay away from thus hotel. Black mold is no joke.

Prima hotel, maar je betaalt wel voor het merk. Faciliteiten maakten niet veel indruk. Klein zwembad, die nergens echt diep is. Verder niet veel zonnebedjes. Restaurant bij het zwembad is duur, maar heeft wel een mooie grote tv waarop je voetbal kon kijken. Prachtig uitzicht op het kanaal. Ontbijt was top, je kon er zelfs appelflappen eten. Gekke gewaarwording als het 30 graden is. :) Kamers waren verder prima in orde. Bedden zijn écht top. Douche was ook heerlijk. Ook de amenities op de kamer waren uitstekend (vers fruit en champagne). Alles wijst erop dat dit hotel voor gasten is bedoeld die erop uitgaan en vooral alleen naar het hotel komen om te douchen en te slapen. Dan is dit hotel écht top. Zoek je meer een resort ervaring, dan is dit hotel niet voor jou.

The Hotel is very close to the airport lying at an artificial laguna. It's a nice location, but a little ofside of any attraction or beaches. You need to have a car to really enjoy Bonaire. The hotel itself marked itself as a Dive Resort, but there is no dive center. Behind the hotel there is a shop for watersports activities and they work with a dive center. The staff was friendly but missing competence, with the exception of the staff at the restaurant. The food was quite limited but of good quality Rooms are ok, but only cleaned every second day. I have never seen this before. It is absolutely not accessible for a hotel of such name. We will not come.back again as there are much better options in the area.

Full disclosure: I am a Marriott premium member We stayed for a week at the Courtyard Bonaire Dive Resort. The hotel name is a little misleading - there's no beach at the resort, but there is a beautiful, albeit shallow, pool at the property and a shop where you can rent equipment for diving. Location: The resort location is very close to the airport, normally within walking distance if you wanted to hike a bit, but construction around the airport and hotel prevents that. I suspect in a couple of years construction will be complete and you can stretch your legs after the flight by walking over! The property is not really "near" any services. Taxis seem to be flat rate ($15) to go anywhere like downtown or to a dive shop. Probably best to get a car rental. Car rentals were reasonably priced. Rooms: The room we had were spacious with plenty of electricity around the beds for electronic device charging or medical equipment like a CPAP. Electricity is standard 120VAC. Beds were Marriott standard - very comfortable. The HVAC was not able to keep up with the heat and humidity during the June stay so the room was always damp and clammy. Internet service was poor and spotty, but we were warned about that on check-in as they were having some issues around the island. People: In a word - AWESOME! Above and beyond service from Rakell, Thomas and Nicole. They went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. The restaurant served mostly pub food (fried). Food and beverage prices were in line with what I expected them to be at an island resort. If I were to come back to Bonaire, I would most likely stay here again, but would arrange my ground transport and diving quite differently for convenience. Namely, get a rental car first day.

We just got back from another fantastic stay at the Courtyard Marriott Bonaire. It was our fourth trip and what keeps us coming back is 100% the staff and incredible service we receive! We've built great relationships with everyone at the resort and are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome back each time. The breakfast buffet has improved and makes for a great start before a long day of diving. Special shout-outs to the bar/restaurant team who always keep us full and satisfied. Nelly, Andres, Jeanne Marie, Jesus and the team are 6-star professionals and we look forward to visiting with them each trip. Hope to be back again later this year. Only negative thing to mention is the new "watersports" shop next door no longer offers complimentary dive lockers for hotel guests.

There is a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the water, a large hot tub, a full service restaurant and bar, a gym, and a large lobby with a snack bar and coffee. But the real appeal is the amazing staff. Everyone, and I means everyone, was so kind and went out of their way to assist you. Nelly, Jesus, Jeanne and Ubalda made the dining experience top notch with their excellent service and kindness. Jo, Sondro and Jaya were always so kind and responsive when we had questions or needed assistance with our gear. Angela was the best and kept our room spotless bs clean…..and she makes awesome towel critters! Please consider staying at this location the next time you visit Bonaire. While there is not a dive shop on premises, the care and amenities at this hotel will make you feel like you are right at home.

Wij hebben nu voor de 2e keer in dit hotel verbleven en weer is het ons prima bevallen. Alles is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De kamers zijn luxe en worden elke dag goed schoongemaakt. Het eten in het restaurant is aan de prijzige kant maar de gerechten zijn heerlijk en grote porties. Groot pluspunt vinden wij de kwaliteit van het ontbijt. Elke ochtend wordt je vriendelijk begroet door Ubalda, de liefste medewerkster van het hotel. Terwijl ze een omelet naar keuze voor je maakt heeft ze oprechte interesse en weet ze leuke dingen over het eiland te vertellen. Voor de afstand tot de stranden en Kralendijk is een auto wel handig.

Originally designed as an Apartment/ Condo complex the grounds feel much nicer than normal Marriott. Breakfast was included in our room and was solid. Guests mix of Americans and Europeans. Not overly luxurious but would stay there again.

We booked a VRBO house on the island but were disappointed when we arrived to no AC, so we quickly switched to this hotel. They were able to find us two rooms close together, and the whole trip ended up feeling like we were supposed to stay there. The people who work at the hotel are the best. They took us in gold carts with our luggage to our room. They printed our boarding passes since Bonaire doesn’t accept electronic passes. Jean and Andres at the restaurant were top knotch, so kind. We brought our two daughters (2 and 5), and everyone was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was free for the kids, expensive for adults ($30/person, unless you have a room rate that includes it). We called to have our rooms cleaned most days, but sometimes they didn’t come. The pool was great for our kids with an easy entry. I didn’t realize until the end of the week that there are foot sprayers on the back of the ice buildings. As divers, we appreciated the drying rack in our building. We used it each day. The hotel is in a great location for pretty much everything we wanted to do. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable when we hadn’t even planned on staying there this trip!
