A tranquil resort with stunning beaches. The staff are both friendly and helpful. The pool is excellent. The gym features free weights but has only one treadmill and two bikes, and it gets quite hot. During our seven-night Luxury Escapes holiday, we grew a bit tired of the repetitive lunch and dinner menu. Breakfast, however, is fantastic, and the Vietnamese coffee is a must-try. There is a small village nearby where you can buy anything you may have forgotten or need more of.

Advantages: The resort is stunningly beautiful and impeccably clean, and the rooms are fantastic. We initially reserved standard rooms but were graciously upgraded to suites. I highly recommend couples opt for the suite with a beachfront view. The rooms are pristine, and the bathrooms offer a direct view of the beach! There's a lovely speaker inside the room for enjoying music (which I absolutely loved!). The housekeeping staff is delightful and very kind. Disadvantages: - Vietnamese cuisine - not recommended: The Pho was disappointingly bad. We ordered it twice, and both times it tasted identical. Even my Vietnamese/American friend, who isn't familiar with Pho, described it as resembling chicken soup. We switched to Bun Cha Hanoi (grilled meat noodle), which was an improvement, but the fish sauce and vegetables didn't quite match the authentic Hanoi Bun Cha style. - Restaurant staff: Despite there being only five tables on a quiet day, the service was slow, and staff members could often be heard chatting by the kitchen door. One lady in particular never smiled and always seemed annoyed when taking orders. I was taken aback when she gave me a disapproving look after I ordered afternoon coffee, and the same happened during dinner when we requested a food menu (as she had only offered us the wine menu for dinner!). Initially, I thought it was just me, but my friends received the same treatment. Furthermore, she forgot to provide us with spoons, and our Pho's vegetables were brought out after we had finished two bowls. The next morning, I had to seek out another lady to place my breakfast order because I dislike dealing with grumpy individuals in the morning. Aside from her, the other staff members were quite pleasant. - On one evening, we surprised a friend with a birthday cake I had pre-ordered, informing the staff in advance about my friend's birthday. When the cake was brought out, I requested a candle, but the response I received was incredibly frustrating: 'We've never had candles here,' she exclaimed before walking away... ultimately spoiling my friend's otherwise happy birthday night.

Chúng tôi đã chuyển sang Bun Cha Hà Nội (bún chả nướng) và thấy nó ngon hơn nhưng nước mắm và rau không giống kiểu Bun cha Hà Nội. - Nhân viên tại nhà hàng: không đông khách, nhưng có 5 bàn trong nhà hàng nhưng dịch vụ rất chậm và nhân viên thường nói chuyện tại cửa nhà bếp. Đặc biệt có một cô gái không bao giờ mỉm cười, cô ấy luôn cho tôi cảm giác cáu gắt mỗi khi nhận đơn hàng. Tôi đã bị sốc khi cô ấy nhăn mặt sau khi tôi đặt cà phê chiều và vào bữa tối cô ấy lại như vậy khi chúng tôi yêu cầu menu đồ ăn (vì cô ấy chỉ đưa cho chúng tôi menu rượu vào buổi tối!). Tôi nghĩ rằng có lẽ do tôi nhưng bạn bè của tôi cũng bị đối xử tương tự. Sau đó cô ấy quên cho chúng tôi thìa, rau của chúng tôi được mang ra sau khi chúng tôi đã hoàn thành 2 bát. Ngoài ra các nhân viên khác đã rất dễ chịu với chúng tôi. - Đêm đó chúng tôi đã làm một bữa tiệc sinh nhật bất ngờ cho bạn bè của mình với chiếc bánh mà tôi đã đặt trước và cho họ biết là sinh nhật của bạn, khi họ mang chiếc bánh ra tôi yêu cầu đèn nến nhưng cô ấy chỉ cho tôi một phản ứng rất khó chịu “chúng tôi chưa bao giờ có nến ở đây” rồi rời đi... và điều đó đã làm hỏng đêm sinh nhật hạnh phúc của bạn tôi.

This is a delightful place, peaceful and romantic, with satisfactory staff and charmingly spacious rooms. During my stay, I met a man who always spends his holiday here once a year. He must have fallen in love with everything about this place :)).

My stay here lasted for 6 days and 5 nights, booked through a package with Luxury Escapes. Overall, the experience has been absolutely fantastic (writing this review on my 5th day here 😂). Airport transfer: Upon landing at Phu Cat airport, we easily located our waiting driver. This part went smoothly, and there's wifi in the car for those needing a connection! It took us approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the resort. Check-in: We were warmly greeted by two staff members and offered a complimentary drink during check-in. The process was efficient, and we were swiftly escorted to our room. Room: I opted for the deluxe suite (the choice was between this and the junior suite), which was perfectly suited for my stay. One standout feature is that every room boasts a sea view, even from the bed. My only minor gripe would be the absence of a bathtub; otherwise, it would have been flawless. Dining: There's only one restaurant where I dined for most meals. They offered a complimentary daily cocktail, which was a nice touch. The menu has plenty of choices, but I highly recommend trying the Bun Cha if you have the chance. Breakfast: They serve a delightful spread of Western and Asian dishes catering to all tastes. Be sure to sample the noodles, as they're quite unique in this country! Facilities: The resort has a gym equipped with basic amenities. Unfortunately, the pool at AVANI was closed during my visit, but we were granted access to the pool at Anatara Villa (AVANI's sister resort). This opportunity was a stroke of luck as crossing between resort pools is typically not allowed. Service: Overall, the service was commendable, with most staff speaking basic English. Despite any language barriers, they were always friendly and accommodating. Privacy: One pleasant surprise was the serenity due to the low number of guests during my stay. Don't be surprised if you find yourself dining alone for lunch or dinner; it's quite common here. The resort offers ample privacy, making it ideal for couples and families alike. Other amenities: Additional facilities include a spa and a private beach for guests' enjoyment. While the spa was adequate, it didn't quite meet my highest expectations. The beach is exclusively for AVANI guests, so take advantage of the opportunity to soak up the sun there! Final thoughts: This resort certainly exceeded my expectations overall. I would eagerly return if given the chance in the future.

The overall experience was amazing. Great location, amazing view, delicious food & drinks, great room and exceptional service by all staff.

Hotel is situated on lovely ***** of beach that is very quiet and wide. The water in August was like bath water. We enjoyed it daily and lovely walks on the beach. The hotel pool is also refreshing and we had no problem getting lounges daily. The rooms are spacious and the king bed was very comfortable and AC was really good. We had a lovely view of the beach and the rooms were very quiet. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. They helped us rent motorbikes and brought them right to the hotel and assisted us with restaurants for our day trips. The spa is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the chakra balancing massage . They offer daily yoga each morning which I really enjoyed in the beautiful jungle setting on the spa deck. The food was excellent both local and western food options. We especially enjoyed the seafood hotpot and local fish. So many options in the morning for breakfast both hot and cold. We felt so welcome by the staff and enjoyed the 7 days we spent there with no stress and leaving very relaxed

This is a nice place. The sea is pristine and water is suitable for swimming. The staff are helpful and quick in responding to any need from guests.

Das Resort ist traumhaft! Die Lage direkt am Meer mit wundervollem Ausblick auf das Meer vom Zimmer aus, leckerem Essen, guter Happy Hour, tollen Pool - ein kleines Paradies. Die Stadt ist schnell mit Grab zu erreichen und bietet eine schöne Promenade und unendliche Essensmöglichkeiten.

A very nice beach resort in the area. The staff are super nice and I enjoyed the spa and yoga in the morning time. The room is spacious with a stunning beach view. The beach also looks like a private one. Will definitely come back with family and friends.

Everything was perfect, ilove the city, the beach and people all around the area, i will surely comeback!

Nice in general

We stayed here for two nights in June 2024. Our first night was superb. It was quiet and relaxed. Fantastic staff, a wonderful outlook, good food. Our second night was a different story. As another reviewer this month found, this ambience was destroyed by a large tour group which arrived on the second day. They were very noisy with uncontrolled children running around screaming until nearly midnight. I felt sorry for the staff, as the tour group showed little respect for them, the resort or other guests. We were glad we weren't staying longer, given this intrusion. The staff at Avani Quy Nhon were very professional, helpful and friendly, and the location is wonderful.

I love this hotel. It is on a secluded semi-private cove and beach. An incredible setting. I prefer it to that of the far more expensive Anantara Resort next door. A couple hundred meters from the hotel is a little fishing area & restaurants. That is a “Plus” because you have meal options other than the hotel within walking distance. So often an isolated resort requires a taxi to eat anywhere else. The setting of the pool is lovely. The lobby and restaurant are elegant & understated. The room and balcony are roomy & comfortable, and you have a view of the sea when you take a shower. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, & the staff is so warm & friendly. I respectfully think the hotel made a terrible mistake in allowing a group to book the night I was there. The group was no problem, of course. But the hotel allowed them to set up a beach event with huge loudspeakers for many hours, as the group did its team-building. I realize the Noise Ordinance does not start until 9 pm. But a lovely hotel like this destroys its image & vibes by allowing this. (BTW-By the Way-the noisy loudspeaker dinner event went past 9:00.) This was like having a cheap, noisy Karaoke bar at the hotel. Ughh!! I realize Mgmt needs to generate revenue, & the temptation of a 20- or 30-room bookings is huge. But a hotel must stay true to its Mission, to its Core Values. It has to draw a “line in the sand” and say, “I’d love that big booking, but not at the expense of the solitude & beauty my hotel projects.” I would return to this hotel, hoping: 1. I do not book the same night a “boom box” event ruins my stay 2. More importantly, I hope ownership & Mgmt have a “Moment of Truth” & maintain consistency of image. I have stayed at many lovely hotels & never before had such a jarring clash of peaceful setting & overwhelming noise.

Spectacular beachfront location away from tourist area- great staff and good food . Next door to sister property Anatara villas which had great pool area/ restaurant. the owners of this property ( minor hotels) need to do a complete renovation of pool and pool area plus update the decor in rooms. This could be a very successful property if they invest some money to justify the high rates.

From the warm welcome, to the inviting pool and ocean, this invites you and calms you. We had a delightful dinner along the cliffs, soft spring rolls and prawns which were mouth watering. Breakfast was vast and carried both Western and Eastern food assortments. The only setback is that we could not stay longer.

The room and balcony are roomy & comfortable, and you have a view of the sea when you take a shower. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, & the staff is so warm & friendly. I respectfully think the hotel made a terrible mistake in allowing a group to book the night I was there. The group was no problem, of course. But the hotel allowed them to set up a beach event with huge loudspeakers for many hours, as the group did its team-building. I realize the Noise Ordinance does not start until 9 pm. But a lovely hotel like this destroys its image & vibes by allowing this. (BTW-By the Way-the noisy loudspeaker dinner event went past 9:00.) This was like having a cheap, noisy Karaoke bar at the hotel. Ughh!! I realize Mgmt needs to generate revenue, & the temptation of a 20- or 30-room bookings is huge. But a hotel must stay true to its Mission, to its Core Values. It has to draw a “line in the sand” and say, “I’d love that big booking, but not at the expense of the solitude & beauty my hotel projects.” I would return to this hotel, hoping: 1. I do not book the same night a “boom box” event ruins my stay 2. More importantly, I hope ownership & Mgmt have a “Moment of Truth” & maintain consistency of image. I have stayed at many lovely hotels & never before had such a jarring clash of peaceful setting & overwhelming noise.

Lovely 4 star resort. Beautiful in beach location. Very isolated with no other restaurants or bars nearby. Great place for a quiet getaway.

Spectacular beachfront location away from tourist area- great staff and good food . Next door to sister property Anatara villas which had great pool area/ restaurant. the owners of this property ( minor hotels) need to do a complete renovation of pool and pool area plus update the decor in rooms. This could be a very successful property if they invest some money to justify the high rates.

From the warm welcome, to the inviting pool and ocean, this invites you and calms you. We had a delightful dinner along the cliffs, soft spring rolls and prawns which were mouth watering. Breakfast was vast and carried both Western and Eastern food assortments. The only setback is that we could not stay longer.

Experience for staying here is quite good. We’re interested in staffs here. The resort has a long, wonderful beach
