Hue Smile Hotel is a gem in Hue! Elegant, well-furnished rooms with modern bathrooms. The friendly and helpful staff, especially the manager, provide excellent service. The delicious and personalized breakfast suits various tastes. The hotel's value is exceptional, offering beautiful, modern rooms and a spacious shower. While breakfast tables may need a short wait, the overall experience is delightful. Hue Smile Hotel is my go-to choice in Hue, and I highly recommend it for a satisfying vacation. Huesmile Hotel is a mixed experience. The spacious, modern rooms were comfortable, but the single elevator caused delays. The unfinished swimming pool and sky bar were disappointing, and the buffet breakfast didn't suit European tastes. The massage service had hidden conditions and aggressive tipping. The advertised free Wi-Fi didn't work, though a neighboring hotel's connection was accessible. Despite securing a good discount, we'd be more critical at full price. On the positive side, the central location, elegant rooms, and friendly staff were highlights. A potential choice if improvements are made. Huesmile, keep smiling and enhancing!

Don’t really like to post negative reviews but hard to find much positive to write: Staff very friendly but limited English so a bit frustrating.. they tried to be as helpful as possible .. genuinely nice people It felt like we were the only punters there ( 4 nights) as we saw nobody else but had two hell nights when some other guests cranked up their music speakers at 4 am .. they were one floor up and 4 rooms away from us but still enough to wake us / keep us awake. I almost knocked their door down before they stopped .. manager not terribly keen to upset them, was very timid The rooms are dated but cleanish.. we changed room once as AC in first option busted. Free breakfast ho hum - asked for an omelette got two fried eggs Swimming pool does not exist It is centrally based which is a positive

Nhà mình ở đây 1 ngày thấy rằng địa điểm thuận tiện đi lại, nhân viên khá thân thiện, nhưng cơ sở vật chất khá tồi. Thang máy thì khá hôi do không có người thường xuyên lau dọn. Điều hoà trong phòng không mát , phòng thiếu ánh sáng. Cảm giác phòng rất ngột ngạt.

Mình ở khách sạn được 2 ngày và mọi thứ đều khá tệ. Cơ sở vật chất ở đây rất kém, mọi thứ đều khá cũ hoặc hư hỏng. Trường hợp của mình thì phòng rất bẩn, điện thoại phòng hư, đèn không hoạt động, mạng cũng gặp nhiều vấn đề. Mình thật sự thấy phiền khi phải liên tục gọi điện tiếp tân để than phiền, nhưng nhân viên cũng không giải quyết được nhu cầu mình mong muốn.

Room was quite large (for a room, not a suite). Nothing special, but it was enough for what we needed. Next time, would stay closer to the river. The hotel staff didnt speak English that well either, which is a downfall, but in saying that, I am in Vietnam, Cant expect too much

Two nights in there for exploring the Hue. The room is clean enough and big. Great for the budget traveller. Breakfast is just normal. Just love to have the pho with fresh vegetable in the morning. But please don't try the massage in the hotel. I don't like the way is leading to the other things rather than giving the massage.

having planned my vietnam trip from the u.s. i took the advice of 3 previous travelers and found a travel agent on line thru the relative of a friend of a friend. i would not use this agent again for various reasons, but his booking me into the hotel from hell, the hue smile, would keep me away. the smile i decided was laughing at me for having been such a sucker. they must have gotten their 3 star rating when it was a viable hotel or by BIG bribes. the hotel is filthy and dark. the room itself may have been clean, but the missing and weak light bulbs in wierd places made it impossible to see the actual room....the tub was clean although shower curtain very mildew covered. the room smelled. when i went down to beg off breakfast, i discovered there was no food anyway. i would not have eaten there for fear of getting some incurable disease. i never saw another guest. i think i was the only one who got suckered in. little english spoken. it is in a not very nice part of town for western travelers, about 10 minutes from a mall and 15 from a gorgeous hotel, where i was able to hang out until finding a decent hotel in a section of hue with lots of hotels and western travelers. but the corner was noisy, and the hotel just awful. never have i stayed in a worse hotel for any price. i went up to the roof to see the pool and couldn't stop laughing. it is a huge trough, the kind i woudn't let me horse drink from. it looked like a construction site. it may have been a pool at some point in the smile's history, but history has not smiled on this sad place. i suspect the owner has serious cash flow problems.
