Our experience has been quite disappointing so far. While waiting for the room to become available, we decided to have lunch. The food was so tasteless that I started to worry I might have Covid, so I bought a test afterward, which fortunately came back negative. We ordered the Meat Platter with cheese, but it turned out to be nothing more than average meats you'd find at any Winmart or local supermarket, despite what was advertised on the menu. Alongside a somewhat decent selection of cheeses were triangular slices of processed cheese. I wouldn't have minded if the price matched the quality, but at 500k, it's more expensive than in Hanoi. Other dishes included French fries with an unpleasant industrial fake blood-colored ketchup and some bland chow mein noodles with seafood. The room itself is okay, but the air conditioning unit is poorly positioned in the corner, so it doesn't adequately cool the room. Overall, it's not worth the hassle or the money. You could stay at a hotel around the corner on any of the main streets or large alleyways for between 300-500k per night and have a better room and experience.
