Conversely, for light use, resort rentals are convenient and preferable in many aspects.

Heartfelt thanks to the booking team (Uyen) when she found out that my family's ferry was canceled, she flexibly supported my family to get to The Shells in the best possible way. The time I booked a room was September 2, 2023 (everyone also knows that because of the storm, the ferry had to cancel trips continuously for 5 days), during that time, because I really wanted to go to PQ, I decided to stay in Ha Tien. Continuously waiting for news of the ferry, and the result is still not being able to go to work on the family's holiday. A small joy is meeting Uyen, who helped me change the date many times a month (she works enthusiastically with Agoda to reduce the work when dealing with me - meaning I only need to email Agoda 2 words). I had an amazing time! The accommodations were lovely, the staff was friendly, and the swimming pool and pool bar were fantastic. Although it was a bit far from other restaurants, getting a Grab taxi was convenient, and taxis were readily available in the lobby, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. Breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed both lunch and dinner. While a bit pricier, the food was excellent and the service very welcoming. The private beach was smaller than expected but perfect for kayaking, photography, and relaxation. Despite visiting during the rainy season by the sea, the weather changed rapidly, yet it didn't deter me from swimming. The staff's dedication was exceptional, setting up parasols and sunbeds at sunrise, promptly closing them during rain showers, and reopening them when the weather cleared, multiple times a day. Their work ethic was truly impressive! On my departure day, I checked out early and took an extra swim before catching the free shuttle to the airport. It was a perfect way to wrap up my stay!
