Staying at a supposed 3-star hotel, I was dismayed to find the room in a severe state of disrepair, with paint peeling off the walls and ceiling. The cleanliness left much to be desired. As for the food quality, it was abysmal; the buffet offered only a few incredibly tasteless dishes. I've just returned home and I'm utterly disappointed. The whole experience was a complete letdown. The accommodation's condition was far below acceptable standards, and the hygiene situation was appalling. The meals served were simply inedible, and the variety at the buffet was disappointingly lacking. This entire ordeal has left me deeply dissatisfied.

The staircase showed signs of peeling paint throughout, making the ascent and descent less appealing. The beach was marred by litter strewn across its sands. The culinary offerings proved underwhelming, with a limited selection. One visitor remarked, "It felt like there were leftovers, and the fried items were overly tough." Both the squid and shrimp lacked freshness, leaving much to be desired. This disappointment notwithstanding, they plan to return to Phu Quoc but opt for a different resort next time.

However, nestled in an alleyway, its location can be tricky to find after visiting the night market or exploring other destinations. The staff, adorable and enthusiastic, are warmly welcoming.

The locals were very welcoming and made a genuine effort to assist. However, much of the infrastructure is aging and requires substantial renovation. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

Fantastic ambiance and reception

This is a great little place right on the beach . All staff are delightful , so kind and friendly - nothing is too much trouble . We had one of the beachfront rooms and it was absolute beachfront . Beautiful sunsets . The garden rooms looked wonderful too if more in your price range . Beds are hard but this is not uncommon in Vietnam . I can't emphasise how wonderfully friendly the staff were and the couple doing massage on the beach just fantastic . One of the best massages I've had in Asia. We went daily to them . Would stay here again .

Excellent customer service by Mrs. Hang, Mr. Tea, Tú and colleagues. The beach side restaurant serves tasty food and great cocktails. You walk directly from your hut into the sea. We loved our stay in this small paradise! (Do not miss the sunset from under a palm tree with a cocktail!)

Отличный тихий отель на маленькой тихой улочке. Недалеко от ночного рынка, рядом очень много кафе, аптек и магазинов. У нас было бунгало м выходом к морю. Отлично отдохнули и получили удовольствие. Завтраки немного скудноватые, но это и не 5 звёзд. Тем более через дорогу можно покушать в любом кафе. Персонал отзывчивый, еда в отеле не дорогая. Уборка была хорошая. Отель рекомендую!

Een mooi resort gelegen midden tussen de grote hotels en vlakbij de drukke straat en aan het strand. Het resort is hier en daar wat gedateerd. Er word wel hier en daar gerenoveerd. Het zwembad mist hier en daar wat steentjes, de bedjes langs het zwembad zijn wat ouder maar functioneren. De tuin en het zwembad worden verder wel netjes onderhouden en schoon gehouden. De meneer die het zwembad bijhoud heeft zelfs een paar ballen voor de kinderen om mee te spelen. De kamer is ook wat gedateerd maar heeft iig een goed functionerende airco wat hier wel echt nodig is. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het restaurant heeft heerlijk eten en tijdens het eten kan je heerlijk genieten van de zonsondergang! Prijs kwaliteit is in verhouding!

На сайте при бронировании было указано, что завтрак включён для 2 человек, и подразумевалось, что придётся доплатить, но какую сумму - указано не было. Завтрак столько не стоит. Оказалось, что в эту сумму включены полотенца, вода и пользование инфрастуктурой отеля. Непонятна политика сайта, если я бронирую номер на 4 человек, почему нельзя сразу указать, сколько это будет стоить?? Второй минус - состояние номеров. Они очень старые, все обшарпанное, дверь в ванную деревянная, выглядит, как будто ей лет 50; в душе заткнута бумага, чтобы он не падал: окошко в ванной всё в паутине, как будто его не мыли никогда. Столик на террасе разваливается, сушилка в ржавчине или краске, оставляет пятна на белье, нам пришлось замотать её скотчем, чтобы не портить бельё. Плюсы: ежедневная уборка и чистота белья были нормальными, всё делали каждый день и вовремя. Расположение отеля отличное, рядом много кафе, хотя идти до центральной дороги приходится по тёмному переулку, где лают собаки. У нас был номер с видом на пляж и лежаками перед номером, это сглаживает указанные выше недостатки. Было приятно сидеть вечером на террасе с видом на море, и спать под шум волн. Однако окно открыть нельзя, так как есть комары. Завтрак средний. Жарят яйца и блинчики, есть определённый набор еды, который всегда одинаковый: овощи свежие и тушёные, рис и лапша, ветчина и сыр (не очень вкусные), сосиски (совсем не вкусные), фрукты (бананы, драгон фрут, ананас, арбуз), вафли, кексы. Чай, кофе и напитки невкусные. Я ела только яйца с овощами и фрукты. Ассортимент за 6 дней не менялся. Территория небольшая, но ухоженная, зелёная. Бассейн небольшой, народу очень мало, всегда были свободные лежаки. Есть бильярд, настольный теннис и тренажёры, но они находятся в очень душном и страшном помещении без окон. Отель выигрывает расположением и территорией, но номера и инфраструктура требуют ремонта.

We traveled as a family of 4. Both children under 12. The resort is basic. With very basic amenities and breakfast. But location is beachfront. We had a beach front room and it was near and has a good view. The staff are lovely and the resort is walking distance to restaurants and convenient stores. Prices are cheap compared to HCMC.

Situé à l'écart de la grande route et au bord de l'eau, l'hôtel bénéficie d'un grand calme. Le personnel est charmant. La grande piscine est très propre et le jardin très bien entretenu. Très bons plats au restaurant avec des serveurs adorables. Seule déception: les chambres du bâtiment n'ont pas de balcon comme indiqué sur les sites Agoda ou Booking.

Parts of the Hotel are outdated but ok. We stayed for 2 nights in the older part. Room was small but clean. Hotel is located in the middle of a bunch of hotels. Beach is very nice, massage on the beach as well. Pool is also ok but no shadow the whole day, when you are in the water. Fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, soup, available for breakfast and a lot more. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Orange Resort is an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home. The resort itself is stunning, nestled amidst lush greenery. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The resort's pool area is fantastic, with plenty of loungers and a refreshing poolside bar. The food at the resort's restaurant is delicious, offering a wide variety of both local and international cuisine. Overall, our experience at The Orange Resort was truly unforgettable, and we cannot wait to return.

We stayed near by and went here for food. Lovely restaurant on the beach and the staff were superb. I had the chicken curry and it was great ! Didn’t stay but the bungalows looked good. It is a few meters from some of the best sunset bars and is a good place I would imagine to stay - if we come back we will stay here !

На пляже было всего 4 лежака один из них был поломан. Но на этих лежаки могут лежать посторонние люди, охрана на это не реагировала. Сама территория отеля зеленая и чистая.

The one thing I cannot fault here is the staff they go above and beyond. I have never had a group of such helpful staff in any of my stays anywhere. However, we booked this trip based on the pictures, website and reviews. One of us had been teaching in Hanoi all week with a charity and we wanted a tropical beach side stay, in a beach bungalow to just relax. The expectation Vs reality we’re very different, as you can see in the pictures. The beach bar was closed, majority the furniture was broken, beds had missing slats with rusty nails sticking out. There was a fridge in the beach bar with shattered glass with the shards of glass still poking out of it. The sun loungers, majority of them broken. The rooms where clean but a lot of the furniture stained. Mandy and Eric are exceptional managers. When I approached them to discuss some of the issues I had. I wasn’t complaining but enquiring why what we had expected (from the website, *********** and trip advisor) based on the reality of what we saw, what was it we could expect. They explained the seasonal changes in Phu Quoc and that in the rainy season all amenities are not open. Acknowledging this and the ignorance on my part not being aware of the seasonal changes I highlighted that I feel this should be mentioned on their website. Something as simple as for example *between the months of June-October all amenities won’t be available, please contact the hotel if you have any queries regarding this”. It keeps it broad and if I want to know more it’s on me to contact and find out and then make my decision on whether to stay. However this did not explain the condition of the property. I highlighted it mentions child friendly, now I don’t have children but I’m a children’s nurse and the rusty nails, shards of glass, broken poolside furniture is hazardous to both children and adults, with the exception adults know not to use or touch sharp Objects. They appreciated what I said, they made no excuses and they also agreed the website should mention this and expressed they would share it with the owner of the hotel. I got the impression the furniture issue was beyond their control I.e the Owners of the hotel. They also told me they would set up a dining area for us in the beach, I did ask was there any menu restrictions, anything they didn’t have and they informed me no, the full menu was available. True to their word they set up the dining area. However when I went to order my food, 5 options I liked, one after the other the server said it wasn’t available to we went else where to eat. So that was disappointing but I feel this is more on the chef to ensure a full menu or if there are things missing inform hotel management so there is an awareness. I don’t mind that they didn’t have it, I got a bit annoyed I was told they did and then didn’t. Eric and Mandy did try to remove some of the broken beds as best they could.
