The staff all over the hotel is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, smell good and inviting. we loved breakfast and the coffee was amazing .Upon arriving, they offered us coffee and drinks after our long drive, which was very kind of them. The view is spectacular. I really recommend everyone to come to this place.

Lugar com uma vista magnifica! Uma mistura de hotel com villas ! Do nosso quarto a vista do Rio , piscina e vinhedos! Maravilhoso ! Jantamos no restaurante e estava tudo delicioso! O Bar também com uma vista arrebatadora! E snacks com variedades ! Todo staff atencioso! Saímos com vontade de repetir a estadia!

Foi um fim de semana extraordinário. Festejamos o nosso aniversário de casamento. Só não pudemos desfrutar da piscina por o tempo não estar convidativo. Razão para voltamos logo que nos seja possível. Desfrutamos de toda a quinta: restaurante, bar, jacuzzi e massagem (serviço contratado).

Great hotel with a stunning location next to the river Douro. Big rooms and a pleasant garden and pool terrace. Lovely restaurant with tasty food. If I should give one negative comment: not all staff members speak English (which in a way is ok when you’re in Portugal). They were mostly friendly anyway. But waiters in the restaurants need better training! Some were professional enough. Indeed! But a couple of them definitely needed more training. And one guy was way out there. He was not only unprofessional - he was borderline rude. Never saw a smile on his face!

No fim de semana de Páscoa decidimos ir passear até ao norte para ir caminhar nos passadiços e encontramos online a Quinta de Santo António. Reservámos um quarto com varanda aproveitarmos a vista que é maravilhosa para o rio. - Quando chegamos o José foi muito prestável e explicou todas as áreas quinta e o conceito da mesma. - O quarto era espaçoso e muito bem decorado com decoração moderna, com muita atenção aos pormenores. - O pequeno almoço era delicioso e muito variado (fruta, panquecas, pão, ovo, bacon, croissants, etc), todo o staff era muito atencioso aos nossos pedidos. - A piscina é muito bonita com vista para a vinha e para o rio, mas a água estava um bocadinho fria para nosso gosto. - Aproveitamos para jantar no restaurante e lanchar no bar da quinta e recomendamos muito, a comida estava deliciosa e o staff muito simpático. No geral foi uma foi uma experiência muito boa e relaxante passar o fim de semana na quinta. Um agradecimento especial à rapariga da recepção (não nos recordamos do nome) que ligou a Tv para podermos ver o futebol e foi sempre muito simpática!! Igor & Carol

Gostou · O Hotel é muito agradável e acolhedor. Todos os espaços estavam muito limpos. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e fazem com que nos sintamos em casa. Fomos acompanhados até ao quarto pelo funcionário José, que com muita simpatia nos acolheu. Fomos surpreendidos com uma garrafa de espumante no quarto, quando os funcionários perceberam que estávamos a celebrar o aniversário de casamento. Fizemos uma refeição no restaurante do Hotel... muito agradável, recomendo. Existe também um bar, junto ao rio, com uma esplanada fantástica. Sem dúvida, uma experiência a repetir!

Excelente restaurante com muita boa qualidade e um serviço muito profissional. Tem uma optima garrafeira e uma vista para o rio deslumbrante. Parabéns ao chefe e a toda a equipa. Bons acessos e parque de estacionamento perto do restaurante.

De passagem escolhemos a Quinta de Sto. António para pernoitar. Uma escolha de ***"", pela localização, a paisagem, o sossego as instalações, tudo espectacular. Realço s simpatia e profissionalismo dis funcionários, a paisagem e as instalações, e o bar. Um local s revisitar no verão.

Desde ao hotel ao bar a beira rio, tudo excecional. Saliento ainda dois funcionários que marcam pela diferença, a Júlia, a rececionista, de uma simpatia extrema, e o Zé, funcionário do Foz Hotel Bar, de uma humildade rara para a tenra idade que aparenta ter. Ambos sempre disponíveis! Recomendo sem dúvida, o hotel muito bem decorado, um misto de rústico de moderno e muito bem localizado. Um experiência a repetir.

He was not only unprofessional - he was borderline rude. Never saw a smile on his face! And did basically most things wrong. Also be aware that this is not particularly a quiet place. There were loads of kids when we visited. Of course this is not at all the hotels fault. I’m just pointing out that the place is quite child-/family-oriented, so don’t necessarily expect a peaceful stay.

We visited this lovely place on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The river bar was crowded but we were accommodated outdoors. It was an enjoyable experience and certainly we will return to this lovely setting for drinks and snacks. The only real issue was that outside almost everyone was smoking cigarettes and was quite annoying but allowed. Above average for ambiance and location. Below average for quality of service when crowded. Nice polite staff irrespective.

A last minute booking at this delightful hotel. Beatriz was very welcoming and friendly and tended to our needs upon check in and very efficient when I made the booking on the phone hours earlier. The grounds are quite big given that the area is amongst a semi residential area along the Douro river. Definitely a place to enjoy during the warmer seasons. The bedrooms are quite comfortable, especially the beds, which is the absolute basic for every hotel. Unfortunately, the wifi signal wasn’t strong enough in the room, but am sure this could be rectified quite easily. Breakfast was plentiful: eggs, bacon, cold cut meats and cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, juices, pretty much everything you need and more to start the day. I wish I could have experienced the bar, Foz, as well as a nice dinner, but we arrived late and were quite tired to do eat or enjoy a nice glass of red. The gentleman in the morning whose name I cannot remember was also very Walt and accommodating, so a big thank you to him as well.
