The cleaning staff, who didn't speak English, arrived and disregarded my explanation of having pre-booked and paid. I was insisted upon payment until I insisted on contacting the owner, which finally resolved the issue.

Exceptional value for the price paid. The room was impeccably clean and pleasantly decorated. The shower was by far the best we experienced in Vietnam, offering strong water pressure and reliably hot water throughout our stay. The proprietor is incredibly kind and fair-minded. Initially suggested a 3% surcharge for card payments but ended up offering us an even lower rate than what was advertised on booking platforms. His honesty was refreshing. Despite limited English, he went out of his way to assist us, which we found truly remarkable. I would enthusiastically return here. Note that all windows are fitted with mosquito nets, though the area tends to have a high mosquito population.
