Don't be deceived by lovely photos! The actual check-in experience was awful! Upon arrival, the air conditioners in two rooms were non-functional! After reporting the issue, I was moved to another villa where the air conditioner still malfunctioned! To make matters worse, numerous ants crawled onto the bed at night, biting! It completely spoiled the vacation mood! Avoid this place at all costs!

The shelf in the room's photo was hit by a 220-volt shock. The technician arrived and discovered that the wires intended to connect the shelf lighting (which was absent) were simply exposed on the shelf. However, the issue lay not with the wires but with the self-tapping screw that had punctured the wall, thus damaging a phase wire. The technician then clumsily shifted the shelf sideways. While the theory sounds good, the actual execution of construction and problem-solving reflects the hotel's attitude towards its guests.

I opted for this place based on its reputation for being a good value for money. The location lacks nearby amenities, necessitating a minimum 10-minute walk to reach a small night market or restaurants. The room feels somewhat dated, and the shower door doesn't close properly. On my first day there, while I was resting, a staff member rang the bell and removed snacks from the table without explanation. There was no conditioner among the provided amenities. Despite staying for 2 nights, used amenities were disposed of without replacements. I found the employee training to be inadequate; no one greeted with a smile during my encounters. However, the swimming pool's size and upkeep were commendable, and breakfast exceeded expectations for hotels in the same price range. Waste collection in front of the resort needs improvement.

We enjoyed our stay in a luxurious penthouse featuring a private swimming pool, which was expansive and stunning. The pool itself was impeccably maintained and generously sized, providing a delightful spot for sunbathing and leisurely water activities in complete privacy. With no other guests sharing our floor, we took advantage of the catering services, indulging in refreshments conveniently stocked in the fridge. Opting for this convenience rather than venturing out, we found the prices reasonable. The bathroom facilities, including the toilet and bathtub, were also top-notch, ensuring our comfort throughout. Overall, our Saturday night stay cost just over 600 Hong Kong dollars, a worthwhile expenditure. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning on our next visit to Phu Quoc Island, perhaps extending our stay to a week.

The location is excellent, near the airport and central Sonasi. They also provide a shuttle service to King Kong Mart. The value for money is truly outstanding. I am pleased with the breakfast options, which are just right. The room condition is great as it has been recently renovated. However, there are no insect screens, so avoid opening the door at night. If I visit Phu Quoc again, I will definitely choose this place.

The breakfast was absolutely delightful, abundant and wonderfully diverse :) Regrettably, the remainder of the hotel fell well below expectations, leaving me perplexed as to why it still holds a 5-star rating. It seems everything here is more about appearances than reality! While our room boasted a television, it proved utterly useless without any programs; we would have had to purchase films separately. Moreover, the balcony was devoid of furniture, rendering it entirely impractical. Within days, our air conditioning began leaking, revealing extensive mold buildup. Despite bringing this to the staff's attention, the response was disappointingly lackadaisical. Additionally, we discovered a mix-up between the DND and room cleaning buttons, resulting in frequent unwanted room cleanings instead of privacy :-D While the resort is adequately maintained, several amenities were inexplicably out of service, including two pools and a deserted poolside bar/restaurant devoid of staff. The beach was notably unkempt, with insufficient lounge chairs, clearly lacking proper maintenance. However, the most unsettling aspect of our stay was the unfriendly staff, who spoke little to no English and offered no assistance or local insights (despite a free island bus service)... Ultimately, the price-to-value ratio simply doesn't add up.
