The hotel was taken over by a Swiss couple and rebuilt, the old reviews should be ignored. Everything is very clean and tidy, modernized and overall it is an incredibly beautiful and well-kept facility.

We stayed 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay. The bungalow was lovely in the traditional Thai design. Good size plenty of room for our things. This has a boutique type vibe as we prefer a more intimate accommodation. Right on the beach and beautiful pool. The included breakfast was delicious and all of the food was excellent. The owners make a special introduction to all their guests and we had the most amazing service from all of the staff! They made us feel like family. It does take a bit to get to the resort from the airport including a ferry, but the transport was great as he (Bao) took us all the way to the resort. We will return!

It’s a shame I can only give Lanta Palace 5 Stars! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere like it, and would struggle to stay somewhere as good again!All of the staff were amazing and remember our names even after just a quick introduction, and were so attentive and friendly!We ate there on the night as we were only staying one night and every dish was fresh and tasty.We stayed in a Beach Front Room, for around £130/6000THB and the room was huge. We also got a lovely flower arrangement. The room comes with a TV, and they have Google Chromecasts available so you can stream what you like, his and hers sinks, and easily the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in!

This place is the perfect place for couples that seek to relax and enjoy Ko Lanta in a very laid-back vibe. Me and my partner stayed in the Sea-view Villa for 3 nights and safe to say it was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Thailand. The scenery, accommodation, staff, restaurant... everything was on point with owners that truly care! The staff were super helpful and were always ready to help with any request. The breakfast (included!) was excellent with a variety of choices for drinks and food. The restaurant is definitely on the pricey side compared to other restaurants on the island but it was worth every penny! There is no other place like this one on the island! If you have the opportunity to, do try and give it a go, you won't be disappointed! Thank you again!

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and are totally satisfied. The rooms are great! We had a beach villa which was just fantastic. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We have stayed in many hotels, but the Lanta Palace Beach Resort is by far the best we have stayed in. There's really nothing missing. There isn't really much outside the complex, but the bare necessities are there. Anyone looking for relaxation will get it 100%. We can absolutely recommend the resort.

Hotel and roomsThe hotel is very new and furnished with attention to detail. We particularly liked the spacious rooms. There is a lot of space and the bathroom is very chic. The bed or mattress is also high quality and allows for a comfortable sleep. The balcony is very cozy and very private despite there being many bungalows. The hotel is not small, but thought has been given to leaving space everywhere so that you can have some privacy. The garden, the trees and the flowers are an absolute dream. A beautiful oasis in the tropics.restaurantThe restaurant is very tastefully decorated. There are cloth napkins, white tablecloths and beautiful table decorations. We particularly liked the beautiful tables and chairs. Very stylish!The accommodation is close to perfect. We only had one disturbing factor and that was the food. We were really disappointed because we only read positive reviews. We ate there three times in total. Once for lunch and twice in the evening. We had: a Pad Thai with tofu, a Pad Thai with chicken, a miso soup, spagetti bolognese, sweet and sour chicken and panang curry with tofu. All the dishes were really tasteless and the meat was very tough. The Panang curry with tofu was totally bland without any vegetables. We are very demanding when it comes to good food. Unfortunately it wasn't for us at all, but others might enjoy it. The breakfast was average. The juices, tea and coffee were good! The fruit and the pancakes and banana muffins too.serviceThe staff are very helpful and friendly. Especially Nope! A few little things here and there that could still be optimized, but for us personally they're not worth mentioning.Trips:We booked a great excursion through the hotel at a fair price. Otherwise you can also rent scooters, book massages or various excursions.MiscellaneousThere is a water dispenser and two fresh water bottles in the rooms every day. Free fruit is distributed at lunchtime. Bathrobes, safe, everything important is there.The silicone on the inside of the pool is coming off and there are lots of green spots on the outside, probably mold due to the high humidity.Overall impression:Good value for money in an absolute oasis of well-being. Keep up the good work!

HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!This is hands down, the best resort I have stayed in my years coming to Thailand. Exceptional attention to detail and service. So personal and great getting to know the staff. We miss Nee already!! Welcomes you by your names every time we walked in the room or resort. He organised our travel issues to Koh lipe within 1 hour!They come around with glasses of ice water during the day, fresh fruit, service at the pool and sunbeds. Really the little touches like this that make the difference to any other hotel.The food! The best food I've had in a Thailand resort. Both western and Thai, all the dishes made by one chef!This resort is labelled as a 4* only because they don't have conference rooms but the service and facilities are just as good as a 5* resort.I'll be back next year. ✨Jasmine

The place is OVERPRICED at around 130 dollars per night (4th of May). I think it should only be around 65 dollars given its facilities and service provided. I do not recommend people to come here. …

Addendum May 4, 2024We were here again this year for 13 days and, just like last year, it was pure relaxation.👍👍👍2023:We have been to Thailand several times and have experienced several resorts, both small and large.This little resort is a pearl. Everything is new, it is quiet, the staff is attentive and friendly and the owners take great care of their guests.Here the boss greets his guests personally.The system is harmonious, everything fits together and creates a harmony that takes you away.The bungalows are actually simple, but have extravagant details. This results in a good balance between original and luxurious.(Totally our thing)Otherwise… breakfast (there is real ham and salami) good, restaurant good, bar good…. But the highlight, you can dine directly on the beach... For breakfast and of course in the evening…Otherwise…. Did I mention quiet? …My wife was so excited on the second day that we had to extend our planned week there.And before I forget, there is also a pool and beach and plenty of loungers.Look at the pictures, they speak for themselves.Update May 15, 2023: We have now been here for a total of 16 days and will be leaving tomorrow with a heavy heart. We are still as excited as the day we arrived. In my many vacations to Thailand, I have never(!) spent more than a week in one place or resort. Fabulous place to stay!Location is amazing, beautiful setup. Garden and beach is very well kept and immaculate. F&B is very good too plenty of yummy choices.A lot of small details which just make this place superior.Staff are very attentive and will look after you very well.Expect on arrival to also be greeted by the owners!
