I came to the Anda Hotel again after 5 years. I really like its quiet and clean rooms. Unfortunately, the weather has been so bad and it has been raining every day recently. The waves have washed a lot of garbage onto the hotel beach.

Good customer service from reception and restaurant. Garden Villa - quiet at nights with cricket sounds and bird calls at dawn. Restaurant overlooks the beach and food is plentiful and good. Easy process for scooter/car or driver hire and good rates. But shared shuttle to Krabi we wouldn’t do again due to it 4 hours, three different vehicles, waiting on road side for 40 minutes to meet a transfer van and packed with no empty seats or luggage space available where your luggage is resting on your knees. Villa waste treatment system requires upgrading and better stormwater drainage required during heavy rain for flooded pathways. Nature everywhere. All in all hard to beat compared to other resorts at this price point. Would be good to have designated bar area overlooking the beach.

The Anda Lanta Resort was fantastic. From the airport pickup in Krabi to the checkout, everything went perfectly. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to fulfill all requests. The value for money is excellent, and our week at the resort was truly wonderful. Please keep up the great work!

We ended up in this great place by chance. Yes, it is very remote, but if you are looking for a beach and relaxation, this is the place for you.Very friendly staff. Free kayaking is possible and a lot of fun.We liked it so much that we extended it another night. In fact, I would have liked to stay longer.There are 3 other bars on the beach that were closed due to the low season.The shakes in the hotel are very tasty. At breakfast you get a large selection, because of the low season it was a la carte. Everything was very tasty.

Very nice hotel facing the beach in a quiet area with a very pretty swimming pool bungalow room it's up to you to choose. Important to know very little nighttime activity or even none at all but an excellent restaurant.If you want to go around the island rent either a scooter or a car.Very pleasant staff and a real pleasure breakfast every morning

Found this hidden gem by accident really. Its one of last resorts in Ko Lanta Yai (South) which means that it does take about 2-3 hrs from the airport but its a scenic journey nonetheless. I would highly recommend using their private airport transfer service as you are guaranteed a seamless ride to the location. The price is reasonable for the quality of their vehicle and comfort.The resort itself sits on a flat land facing the beach. We took the beach villa and absolutely loved it. Spacious rooms with all the necessary fittings. Aircon works great for hot humid days and the bed is fluffy and comfortable. Bathroom was huge and water heater & pressure were great. Housekeeping is diligent, discreet and fast. We loved our room which faced the beach directly. You will notice how their gardens throughout the property are immaculately maintained. Due credit to the quality of the gardening team here.The beach itself is beautiful but tricky because you can't see where the rocks are underwater. Here's a tip, walk straight from the middle of the 2nd row of beach chairs and your path will be stone-free! Be mindful however that the ocean brings in a lot of trash onto the beach but since its a private property their beach is cleaner than their neighbour. Another tip is to coincide your booking with the Lunar cycle. The moon travels east to West at night and her journey takes place right across the beach sky so watching the moon transition into full will be an added delight. It was low season and rainy when we went but the sheer tranquility of this place always makes you feel at peace.The restaurant is a highlight of this place. The chefs are well trained and nearly every dish we ordered was very tasty. Spice levels can be easily communicated beforehand though their default level is almost no spicy heat at all. We thoroughly enjoyed eating here and were happy not to go out in search of good food.Location wise, this resort is at the end of the single main road which means shops and other restaurants are at least 1.5km away. Fortunately, the resort provides rental scooters by the hour to facilitate these needs. I would say that knowing how to ride a scooter is almost mandatory in order to truly maximise the value of this resort. Alternatively, stock up on munchies and alcohol before arriving and you're pretty set.Finally, the staff of this resort makes it a true gem. While they might not go out of their way to make your wishes come true (since it was low season they had lesser staff which makes economic sense) but their warmth and friendliness always made you feel at home. As you can see, we had an awesome time here and would happily return someday.

For the price, you’d think this would be a luxury hotel, but it was pretty disappointing.Pros: wonderful staff who were very friendly and helpful. Free one way pickup from the pier. The flowers around the hotel were lovely. Motorbike rental was inexpensive (and crucial). Overall quiet place.Cons: they only provide hotel transportation one-way (to the resort) and make you pay to go back. The resort isn’t very close to other restaurants, so you need to rent a motorbike to get anywhere. The food is really disappointing. Overpriced by a long shot and not great. They’d often run out of fruit (besides a full plate of watermelon) by 9 am for breakfast and it was pretty underwhelming. The food quality really varied depending on the day and meal. We ordered seared tuna for dinner and it came out raw and frozen in the middle. The room was pretty dated and when it rained overnight during our stay, there was an active leak from the ceiling. The pool didn’t look like it was chlorinated and had a greenish hue. The beach is beautiful, but the rocks mean it’s really not swimable in front of the hotel.Overall, peaceful location but far the idyllic stay we were hoping for.

In itself a beautiful resort with well-maintained garden and rooms, but not atmospheric and old-fashioned to our taste.The bay where it is located is very quiet and beautiful, beautiful location. The staff is very helpful and friendly and pays great attention to the little kids.Breakfast was okay, Thai options, but not particularly good, a bit boring.The catering industry is too large for the number of visitors, making it unpleasant and a bit extinct. Not a nice bar or something to have a drink in the evening. The food is mediocre. So guests go somewhere else and that makes it even more unpleasant.We had the best room, right on the beach, but we still found the room to be uncomfortable in terms of decor and a bit old-fashioned/outdated.It is also not particularly fun for children, there is little to do for a resort that focuses on children (some toys or a play corner, for example, would be nice).When we were there, the swimming pool was out of use 2 out of 3 days due to algae maintenance, which I don't think is really possible for such an expensive resort and in this heat. We mainly book this luxury for the swimming pool. There was no communication about it or anything offered in compensation. Disappointing for this price.We would not come back here and certainly would not recommend it!
