We arrived at Chiang Mai airport and Christoph picked us up with his spacious Toyota, no problem carrying our two big bike cases. During the drive to their mansion, Christoph gave us an introduction about Thai culture which was very interesting. Their house is located a little bit south of Chiang Mai, takes you around 15 minutes to the city center by using a Grab ("Thai Uber" - around 250baht). Especially for us as bycicle riders their house was very well located, since day trips to Doi Inthanon National Park (the highest elevation in Thailand) and other spots are easily to access without facing excessive traffic. The room was very nice, clean and quiet, you have your own bathroom and access to the terrace. In their very spacious and clean garden they have a big swimming pond which is the heart of their facility. Christoph and his wife Pat serve you different kinds of breakfast which we were asked for prior to our arrival. Chris and Pat are very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Definitely a 5 out of 5

Chris and Pat are very nice couple, they are very friendly and kindly, cozy room beautiful garden and a big swimming pool almost ready, unfortunately I have not seen it done,but I can imagine how beautiful it would be, I stayed at their house for almost one month, I think I might be the guest who stays longest🥰 lovely owner and lovely house, highly recommended!

The house is located something about 25 min south of airport and lies in a quiet rural residence zone. All rooms are very clean and in the highest standards. We could even sleep with open windows and terrace door only with mosquito protection before the window and door. Chris and Pat are wonderful hosts. The cooking for breakfast was perfectly done by the House Mistress Peng. Chris meet us ( a couple of 60+ people) on day one at the airport and returned us there again on the last day. From this location, I did some bicycle trips ( rental from Vanilla hotel bike shop Chiang Mai) to the surrounding attractions including Doi Suthep. Although the pool was not working at that time due to some necessary major service works, we had a wonderful time in the garden and used the shower to cool down instead. We were told, that the pool will be in function in due time. Chris is very interested in all kinds of music and so we shared two evenings looking together operas and classical music videos ( including some beer!). It is nice and relaxing to stay there.
