The hotel opened in 2023 and is incredibly beautiful.The pool above is small, but nice, and I think it's the appeal point of this hotel.I ordered breakfast included, and it was good that there were a lot of items.It's far from the station, but I don't think there will be any problems if you use a taxi or Uber.It was a cheap stay for a 5 star hotel.I would like to stay there again if I have the chance.

My new personal best place to stay in Bangkok. Service, rooms, amenities, location - all 5/5. Only thing which could be improved from my european/spoiled point of view is the bread selection during the breakfast. Other than that - everything was great.

A hotel chain that is not bad but always leaves something to be desired.I used the Thonglor branch several years ago, but I felt the same ambiguity I felt back then during this stay.1. Among the so-called “5-star” hotels, this is the only one where you have to unload your luggage from the taxi and carry it to the concierge by hand. I have stayed at at least 10 5-star hotels in downtown Bangkok, but the Grande Center Point Hotel was the only hotel where I unloaded my luggage, opened the door, and dragged my luggage with my own hands. This is the same for both the Thonglor branch I visited several years ago and the Surawong branch I visited this time. Perhaps there is no separate provision for out-of-door customer service. It is assumed that instead of direct customer service and open doors by staff, they will be replaced with 'automatic doors'. Of course, there were times when a staff member stood at the swing door once or twice during the 3-day, 2-night stay, but in general, customers went in and out directly through the automatic door.2. Because it is newly built, the facility is clean and comfortable. The partial river view with Icon Siam and cruise ships in the distance was better than I expected, and the refrigerator was nice and larger than expected for the size of the room. There were a lot of outlets throughout the room, and the outlet next to the bed in particular had a type C charging port, which was very useful when charging a cell phone. In particular, it was very convenient and nice that the shower valve was button-type. It was a first-of-its-kind facility that I had not seen in other hotels. However, it is unfortunate that the pillow was a cotton pillow with quite good elasticity. It would have been nice to have alternative options such as feather or memory foam pillows. The gown was convenient as the arms were reasonably short. The ice maker and vending machines provided in each hallway were also useful.3. The pool is not very large, but it is an appropriate size that doesn't feel too small and has a great view both day and night. All tall buildings in the area, including the Peninsula Iconsiam across the river and the surrounding Lebua Hotel, are spread out in front. The night view is also beautiful. However, ordering at the poolside bar is very slow. I ordered a coconut and fried calamari, but the coconut wasn't served until 20 minutes after ordering. The calamari was not served almost an hour after I ordered it, so I had to go back to the order and ask for confirmation. Calamari finally arrived 20 minutes after requesting confirmation. In the end, it took nearly an hour and a half to get one drink and one food. There were very few guests at the poolside.4. The gym consists mostly of cardio machines and a few upper body weight machines, but they are all state-of-the-art machines from the Technogym brand. This gym will be satisfactory for those who value light aerobic exercise while traveling or are okay with dumbbell exercise on a bench. The exercise environment itself is objectively pleasant. The only problem is that the gym does not have a separate entrance or exit door, such as an automatic door. The reason this is a problem is that it is an environment with an outdoor pool and an entrance door in between. In other words, there are mosquitoes inside the gym. I was bitten twice by mosquitoes while stretching... Spray mosquito repellent before going to the gym.5. Breakfast was satisfactory. There is an interesting point here too. In other 5-star hotels, the room number is checked at the breakfast room entrance and then the staff guides you to your seat. However, in this hotel, once the room number is confirmed, guests can freely choose where they want to sit (the table, of course? They don't have cutlery and napkins set haha), set their own cutlery and napkins, and sit down. It's an efficient, if not polite, system, so you may like it or not. The food consisted mainly of Chinese food, Indian food, and some Japanese food, and unusually, there was also ice cream.6. There are many Chinese guests and they make loud noise in the hallway. This noise can be heard clearly from the room.7. You can conveniently order room service using the QR code provided under the TV in your room. However, anything you write in your request when ordering will not be reflected at all. When ordering a drink, I asked for a pair of chopsticks, but they never arrived.8. The service that allows you to exchange gifts with tokens was novel and fun.Overall, the Grande Centerpoint Hotel is clean, efficient and convenient, but that's about it. Customers who focus on fine service rather than state-of-the-art facilities have many better options at a lower cost. (Just because the service was not detailed does not mean that the room cleaning was inadequate. The housekeeping was excellent.) Just as I did not use the Grande Center Point Hotel for 3-4 years after visiting the Thonglor branch, I will continue to do so for the next 3-4 years. I think I will use another hotel.

Each room has a great city view. The infinity pool is awesome during day and night, great for pictures . Very modern rooms, smart toilets and extra large shower has great pressure. Steam room and sauna rooms are located by the pool. Helpful staff and service and can speak English. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the rooms.Located nearby is Jodd Fair, an outdoor market with great street food, IconSiam which is a huge 7 level mall with high end retailers such as Hermes, LV.

Service was not good.The location is in an uninteresting area and far from anywhere.There is a bus stop nearby, but the only one that seems to be usable is the one going to Si Phraya.Shuttle service is by tuk tuk to Saladin and minivan to Saphan Taksin.Since there was no guide, I researched it myself and rode it.On the way back, it was a 15 minute walk from Saphan Taksin, and at night there was an empty road near the hotel, with a 7-Eleven next door.The room was nice as I was able to take a relaxing soak in the bathtub, but I took a shower after checking out and used the sauna and shower room by the pool, but there was no jacuzzi, no footwear, few lockers, no shower cap, and the function was poor. It had no functionality and was completely unusable. It's probably only for people who use the pool.If you want to pay the same amount, W or SO is better.

New open hotel so the smell of decorations is too strong for us. We already changed room once to a less bad smelling room, but this unhealthy smell still makes you feel very uncomfortable. so we left in the early morning( 5 am). but this two night rooms still can't negotiate to refund partly!
