Great Property! Just great, really great property. Service is excellent!! Distinguished yet sincere, rooms were spacious (we stayed in the Krungthep wing overlooking the River. Only change i could add; please have coffee in the room. Front Desk & Housekeeping was spectacular!

Krung thep wing is quieter than the main building. Pool is much more sedate. The room with balcony are fabulous. Location = perfect. Bts train station next door AND the ferry stop is beside it. Across the street is bangrak market with eateries and shops. Perfect.

Very good vacation experienceDocked at the pier and BTS. It is very suitable for arranging attractions around the Chao Phraya River. There is no better place than this, especially the building at the Kom Thep Wing is 200 meters away from the pier and BTS.The hotel is very good overall. The aroma upon entering and the overall service are excellent and considerate.The hotel is close to the Chao Phraya River and the old hotel has the best view.I was originally worried that the hotel's environment would be bad if it was too old, but fortunately my worries were unnecessary.The hotel lobbies and restaurants in the city center are bustling with traffic and the hustle and bustle of the market.But not at all in Shangri-La, the experience is very good.

I think the rooms in this Shangri-La Hotel are older, but the views are great. The service staff was ok, but definitely not as good as the service at the Conrad Hotel, even though they are both 5 star hotels.

This is a very nice place, the rooms are comfortable, but the equipment is too old. The service of the waiters was enthusiastic and polite. Another drawback was that the public space was too hot. There was really no need to save such a small amount of electricity.

I am a regular guest at Shangri-La Bangkok. Attention at the Horizon Club can't be beat. Very well maintained suite in immaculate condition with a wonderful view of the Chao Phraya River.

2023/12/30~2024/01/01 Room 0514Shangri-La Hotel is the highlight of this trip to BangkokI booked a hotel room four months ago in order to see the fireworks over the water that will be released only on New Year’s Eve.It has been standing for nearly 40 years. It is a rare large base covering more than 7,500 square meters by the river. It plans to have two buildings with nearly 800 rooms and two outdoor swimming pools. It is no exaggeration to say that it is the king of Bangkok's hotel industry.It is worth mentioning that there is a crystal chandelier in each room, which can strongly reflect the owner's initial investment. The grandeur and luxury created are a reminder of the beauty of the past.Although on Google reviews, I was already mentally prepared for the negative comments that the hotel has been a long time since it was completed, has poor sound insulation, and looks old everywhere.However, after actually checking in, I saw that the bathroom hardware was old, the faucets were filled with dirt, the surface of the bathtub was peeling and mottled, the amount of hot water was too small for bathing, and the washbasin was poorly drained... I sincerely recommend the hotel. The bathroom should be gutted and redoneOh yes! And the carpet in the room that was obviously so dirty that I couldn’t bear to change it.The room charge of more than NT$33,000 for two nights is really shocking!But having said that, the rare riverside terrace #krungthepwing has a complete view of the busy water scenery of the Chao Phraya River. It is also a popular time on New Year’s Eve.Allow the whole family to relax and watch the fireworks in the rock zone with a late-night beer snackHaving these precious memories that cannot be bought is worth the price of admission!

The counter staff is indifferent and has a negative attitude in handling things!The lights in room 862 will automatically turn off every hour! Later, I was moved to room 858. There was insufficient hot water and the external windows could not be closed! Not worth the price

Upon check-in, the deposit was THB2,000 per day, for a total of THB6,000.We were guided to the 15th floor from the 16th floor, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Compared to recently built hotels, it was a lot older, but not dirty.It is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, and all of them have balconies in Krungthep Wing, so the night view is great, and BTS and water taxi stations are nearby, so transportation is convenient.The amenities are authentic Shangri-La products and the toothpaste is Colgate.I liked the tea, coffee, beverages, and minibar (it's free so you can have all the products), so I ate all the minibar products.I liked the lobby and building with a more Chinese-style, classic feel than the Shangri-La Wing.last day.During my 3-night stay, I had breakfast twice at Shangri-La Wing Next 2 Cafe at Shangri-La Bangkok Hotel.The last breakfast was eaten at the breakfast room on the first floor of Krungthep Wing.It's quiet because there aren't many people.There isn't much food, but it tastes good.The service is good, but the food tastes better than Next 2 Cafe.If you stay at Shangri-La Bangkok Hotel Krungthep Wing, we recommend that you try the breakfast restaurant on the first floor at least once.First of all, there are not many types of food.The basics were well prepared, so I really enjoyed the meal.My wife also keeps talking about the breakfast here.The rice noodles were delicious, the cafe latte was good, and the krao mousseap was also delicious.The orange juice was delicious, the egg station was good, and lastly, they gave me as much mango as I wanted, so I enjoyed it.Now to another hotel.
