Smells like old cigarettes and humidity. But very cheap, didn't find any bugs even after looking thoroughly. Not even a roach. Decently clean and the mattresses were comfortable (not hard). But it did look like someone had died in that very mattress. Did not check out the amenities or pool, so can't comment on any of that. Did get sick after the first night here, but not sure if it is because of this hotel or something else. I absolutely recommend the massage next door

Reasonably priced hotel, solid, celebrating 50 years, with a restaurant so good locals drive to it, with far more comfortable accommodations than the nearby backpacker lodgings, (read the reviews!), for only a couple of hundred baht more per dayQuiet, functional, with an always clean small swimming pool, 10~20 minutes walk to the BTS, MRT, Lumpini Park and the brilliant free of charge Benjakitti Forest Park, with wildlife, walking, cycling and jogging, toilets, security, exercise machines, covering 72 hectares.

Rooms are big and clean, Food, although a bit pricy is very good. No idea, why they charge for ice, never saw it before. Staff is helpful and friendly. Just 4 points because: When you, as a foreigner want to go somewhere and try to take a moto taxi in front of the hotel, they rip you off! ALL of them and ALL the time. Small distances (made 30 Bath for Thai) they ask for 100 Bath and even more(!!!!!!). When you try to take another moto taxi from the road, they refuse to drive you. The management should talk with the police to declare their licenses invalid.

Its home away from home. Comfortable, Affordable, Very central location. The ideal place to stay for a stopover on the way to Europe and on the way back from Europe to Australia.

Booked a room here for 4-nights and have no regrets. Coming from Malaysia, its ironic to find a hotel bearing your country name.Front desk lady was friendly and kind enough to let me in before the standard check in time. I didn’t get her name but she’s a charm.The facade looks modern but the rooms are a bit dated - but they’re spacious and comfortable. Theres even a swimming pool available for guests although i dont have time for it.Then there’s 2 houskeeping ladies which were impressive. While they may be not proficient in English, the little touches like leaving water bottles when i left the room with “DND” signs made my day, especially after you return from a hectic day out.I just wished that they have some hot water for my morning coffee fix. In any case, Theres a 7-Eleven around the corner.If they offer halal food option in one of their restaurants, I think they’d attract more guests from Malaysia - something the owner can think about.

This hotel smells very bad of cigarettes.The room is dirty, smells very musty.It's true that almost everyone smells of cigarettes because they use air conditioners to diffuse the smell. The service was poor and the employees had a sullen face and pulled an unhappy expression on their face. If you ask a lot, you won't be satisfied.
