A Walking Contradiction

I used this hotel for the first time because the hotels I usually stay at are expensive due to the high season.Take off your shoes at the entrance and enter in slippers.Although the guest rooms are old, they are kept clean and there is no problem for staying here.There is only a shower in the room. There is a bathhouse on the first floor.It is rare in Bangkok that even affordable hotels have toothbrushes as amenities.I think the price including breakfast is good value for money.The staff's customer service is also friendly and comfortable.There is no elevator, so it's a little difficult to get to the 3rd floor with heavy luggage.A female staff member offered to take it with me, but I couldn't ask her to do so, so I carried it myself, and she lifted it with me. No apologies.Breakfast is grilled fish, several types of small dishes, and miso soup.The rice is delicious.I think it's enough for business trips or solo travel.The surrounding area is an entertainment district. If you are a woman staying here, please be aware of these points. (It's not dangerous)

Love this place and really hope it opens up again before we come back to Bangkok in December! Loved the Japanese style rooms, the food, friendly service and especially the Onsen! There’s no other place like it

There is a bed, but there are also tatami mats, making it very relaxing. Breakfast is Japanese style. There is also a Japanese-style communal bathroom on the first floor.

If you wanna try different experience in Bkk you should try this hotel. Near BTS Phrom Phong Station, shopping malls, easy to walk. I got a clean and big room with hot tub like Japanese traditional style. Staff very friendly, helpful and chatty. Very impressed!!

Japanese-style tavern, cheap and good. You can pay extra for late check-out, which is convenient for travelers on night flights. However, it is recommended to ask a Japanese waiter to deal with it, because when I asked the local service about late check-out, she said that the reservation was fully booked tomorrow and no delay was allowed.The room is on the third floor and there is no hot shower, but you can soak in hot water in the large underground Japanese bath, which is nice.In addition, it may be an environmental problem. There are many mosquitoes. I killed two mosquitoes that were so full of my blood that they couldn't fly. Mosquito-repellent coils are provided in the room.
