Good place for a good price. Nothing really to do at the hostel but within walking distance you are at the beach.There is a cafe where you can order food for breakfast. Across the street is a small local shop for essentials. The staff is very nice. I got help with many things for my travel like the scooter, the van to bkk and medicine when I got sick.The rooms are clean and spacous and the hostel was quiet even though a big schoolgroup was there.

Small and simple hotel close to the high street. Comfortable rooms with ensuite shower room (hot water too). Staff all very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean and well organised. Excellent value for money. I will stay there again the next time I visit.

“Great Clean Accommodation”We stayed for two nights between stays at another resort on Koh Samed. We had read the reviews about cleanliness, and decided to book a private room with washroom. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The washroom was clean and there and there was a hair dryer available. Our room came with a tv which had access to basic Thai channels. WiFi was available with a strong connection. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept on in Thailand -think pillow-top mattress. One thing we don’t quite understand is the no food or drinks in room rule. Our room has a fridge, cups, and a kettle, but what is their purpose if we cannot have outside door or drinks? Still, it’s only a small inconvenience. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Amazing place! We came here twice, once with a big group. The hostel perssonel was super friendly and organized everything for us from pick up at our hotel in Bangkok to the boat + return. Can 100% recommend. Very nice rooms, good location, nice breakfast.

The staff at the hotel really made our stay special. They are so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us during our stay. They gave excellent local advice and went above and beyond to help us. This is the second time we've stayed at Stay Samed and we'll surely return. Clean rooms, great location, affordable price and tasty breakfast!

Hidden gem.First time in a hostel - it was good. Cleaning the rooms and changing towels daily. Even give me a water bottle everyday.Good service, friendly people. But the best thing here were the sandwiches and the coffee.

The accommodation is in a great location: 10 minutes to the ferry and 10 minutes to the beach. The dorm was spacious and the mattresses were very comfortable.

Spacious rooms with great Aircon, but there were a few mosquitos around in the room, unfortunately. A short stroll down to the beach area. While located in a built-up area, there was no sound issues at all.

The best place to stay on the island. Rooms are fantastic and super clean. Food is awesome and the staff you can not fault. So friendly and extremely helpful in any way. We will definitely be staying again. This is a must for all travellers coming to this beautiful island.

Clean rooms, near Sai Kaew Beach. The breakfast was delicious. Most importantly, the service staff are very good.

The male member of staff is surly and rude; whilst the female staff member is lovely. On checkout I barely received a grunt from him whilst the couple who were walkins paying on checkout were being thanked profusely. It is too much £36 a night for this place whilst you can get a beach bungalow for same or less. There is no privacy as the room doors are glass and you have to make sure the curtains are fully closed to spare your dignity.

It’s the best hotel in Koh Samed. We are really thankfull for hotel staff for everything. People - dont think, just go here and have nice holidays🌴👍 good place, good staff, good rooms.. and that means - good holidays:)

After staying for 2 days, we moved on to another more expensive resort hotel, but the cleanliness and convenience made us think we could have continued staying here.You can take a warm shower with good water pressure. My impression was that the bed was soft and comfortable, and the bed cover had a nice texture.Although it is close to the forest, it is clean so there were no insects.The staff were always smiling and kind, making us feel very comfortable.

We are on a world cycling trip and I can say….. this is the very best hotel we stayed so far within the last 14 months. The bed is great, the bathroom very nice (everything works perfect). The view is amazing (okay, you can’t see the ocean, but it is only a 5 minutes walk), you can see the forest and even listen to the animals out there. It is a very quiet area. The room is perfectly clean and you get fresh towels and new water bottles ever day.What a petty, but we have to leave after 2 nights. This place we recommend 100% for your stay on the island.(P.s.: if there are other cyclists coming, you are not allowed to take your bicycles to the island anymore 😥)
