Let's start with the positives - nearby is one of the best beaches on the island, very beautiful. Now let's start with the flaws - the hotel was initially quite good in design - large territory, spacious rooms (but in need of renovation), swimming pool (for some reason it was locked, but I swam on the beach)Now on the minus side, but very greasy - it was the worst breakfast of my life, there was a jug of warm orange juice (maybe it had been there for more than one day), a jug of water, there was butter, bread for toast, two types of jam, like some kind of bags with tea, four menu items. That's all. Since three positions were something with eggs, either an omelet or scrambled eggs, and I can’t eat eggs, I chose rice with shrimp, in the photo from the menu it was just boiled rice. They brought some kind of gruel, like they cook for shepherd dogs at the dachas, either rice or soup; a few skinny shrimp floated pitifully. I ate two spoons and realized that I couldn’t eat it anymore. They brought ice to the warm juice (it’s also unclear what kind of water it’s made from), they brought 6 pieces of pineapple, there are no complaints about the pineapple. As a result, my breakfast consisted of three small glasses of juice with ice, two toasts with various jams, two spoons of an incomprehensible gruel and six pieces of pineapple. And an hour later I fell ill for the whole day with acute poisoning, the whole day was in vain. Before that, I ate in the evening at the same place, with them.

A really nice beach with wonderful water. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not reflect the experience at the beach.. The food is overpriced (probably because it’s the only option to eat/drink in the area) and it’s very average. A great disappointment when there are so many delicious restaurant on the northern part of the island. Additionally, the service was EXTREMELY slow: we waited 45 minutes for our 4 meals to be ready (they were all made of noodles/rice..). Honestly if you’d like to come here for the beach, bring your own food and eventually go there for a drink.

Getting from the pier to the hotel complex is very expensive at 550 Thb. Unfortunately I made the wrong booking myself, I wanted to stay in Samet Villa and not here. From the street you first have to climb over a closed barrier with your luggage and then walk steeply downhill for what feels like 500 meters until you reach the reception. The rooms were very modern in 1945 at the end of the war. That's why it's clean. The beach is the only positive thing here at the resort. The restaurant and the food is good. The breakfast offered to us which is included in the priceIt's an impudence and shouldn't be called breakfast. For me it is the first and last time here.

Had lunch here. The beach is beautiful but the restaurant was overpriced and underwhelming. Service was extremely slow and we had to ask for everything - plates, cutlery, sauces, napkins, etc. Grilled shrimp tasted like cardboard and the green curry and yellow curry were identical. The place is very rundown. There are better restaurants at the next Ao Wai beach just north of here (Pirate Bar, Apache). Would come here only for the beach.

Didn’t stay there, we just had a few drinks at their bar. When I wanted to go to the toilet (I had had a drink there after all) I was asked to pay for the it, as the lady said only eating customers can use it for free.Flabbergasted, I asked the lady to give me back the tip I had left her and paid for the toilet with that. With such rude service, obviously I don’t recommend this place.
