We came to relax for a couple of days from Pattaya. The island is certainly top, but the hotel didn’t work.Let's start with the mountain you have to climb, the slope is very steep. The stairs are slippery after the rainSecondly, the staff - be prepared that they will communicate with you as if you owe themThirdly, the houses themselves are not competitive at this price. Everything is sadAs a result, if you add the lack of breakfast and 200 baht for sunbeds, I don’t recommend staying here!!!

Old hotel. Not very friendly reception. The administrator was not in a good mood upon check-in, as it turns out this is her usual state.Regarding the cleanliness of the hotel - I agree with the previous review, the attitude towards cleaning here is a little negligent. The restroom has an additional “window” in the ceiling - everything is covered with the remains of similar insects - centipedes and spiders and garbage accumulated over many years. There are steps leading to each house, onto which leaves and debris from the trees fall during the night; they are not cleaned very often and not very well; insects hide under them during the day. A lot of crushed centipedes. By the way, on the very first day, I took off a small scorpion, fortunately it did not have time to sting me.The food at the hotel is not so good, the prices are inflated.Sun beds are available for a fee only.

Carefully! The hotel is a real nightmare!I want to warn everyone about the deplorable state of this hotel. What may once have been a beautiful place is now abandoned and in disrepair. You don’t have to read all reviews before 2023Rooms are a separate issue. The windows are dirty, the rooms are always dark, and there are dead flies and spiders on the ceiling window in the bathroomThe hotel itself, except for one room, is located at the top of a steep hill, and each time you have to climb uneven steps of varying sizes. This is extremely difficult to do in the heat, especially if you have children or luggage. The road to the sea also turned out to be an unpleasant surprise - it passes through a road along which bikers fly, and I’m not sure that all of them are sober. The furniture in the room is falling apart before our eyes. The paint from the benches sticks to your clothes, and it’s better not to touch the windows at all - if one of them is askew, you’ll be fined 500 baht. When we tried to politely figure out why we were being fined, the administrator, who from the very beginning spoke to us through clenched teeth and was extremely unfriendly, called the police! This behavior was not just unprofessional, but frightening - it seemed that she was ready to throw her fists if she didn’t like something. The holiday was completely ruined. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. There are many other places to stay in the area where you can go so as not to waste your nerves and money on this strange and dangerous place.

Nice bungalows near village, but still peaceful. The beach is a few steps from bungalow and over a small road. Beautiful beach. Sunbeds 80baht/day. Nice small restaurant, the good pretty ok. Ice coffees very good. …

Third time at Koh samet and first time staying here. I’ll come back everytime! The location was great - a little off the main Saikaew beach so was a little quieter but still an easy walk (either on road or beach) into town. There are many steps to get to your room but we didn’t mind. Each room is its own standalone little hut which we loved. Beds were not very comfortable but it was clean with fresh toiletries, towels, waters, every morning

The room is good, but too many mosquitoes so you can't stay and use the balcony outside. The location is in front of the beach but is not ideal for swimming because it's dirty, so you need to walk and go to Sai Keaw beach. No happenings in the evening as well so quite boring.

The room is a good size for two people. Three people would be more accurate. The room is next to the mountain, you have to walk up, it's tiring. Let me tell you, the bathroom, after taking a shower, the water drains slowly. Well, I stayed for a while. We didn't inform our accommodation because after taking a shower we went outside. The room has all the facilities: towels, drinking water, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dryer, coffee, and kettle. If we want to plug in our kettle, we have to bring it and plug it in at the head of the bed. The service of the staff at the accommodation is good. The employees are really good. In front of the accommodation there is a restaurant next to the beach. Taste and price are ok. If we go to Samet, we will stay here again. But will choose the room below instead. It's easier to walk up.
