It's nice to hang out at Silver Sands, go to Gako Bar, and go to Audi, then come home late, wash up, and just sleep.

Cottage with rooms overlooking the flora immersed in tranquility, if you are not looking for luxury the room is spartan but large, Cleanliness 3/5 I recommend washing the curtains otherwise quite ok, fridge in the room, functioning bathroom, no soaps or hairdryer. Air conditioning, fan, water in the fridge and comfortable bed. The location is 2 km from the town but close to some excellent beach restaurants. The host was super nice although a little in difficulty because he doesn't speak English, but he was excellent for what he could. We forgot our glasses and found them at the port to return them, fantastic! I recommend a little extra care so it can increase the price a little ;) currently good value for money.

Nicely situated back from the road among the trees: mostly only heard the singing frogs and occasional gecko/bat in the night. Comfortable bed, good shower, ceiling fan and A.C, and bottled water in the mini-fridge. Good location with amenities close by in either direction (bars, restaurants, street food vendors, scooter rental, beach). Dave (the host) was able to arrange a scooter for us on a busy day when all the rental places we walked past on the way from the pier were sold out - thanks, Dave!

There is a lot of work going on; wiped, tidied up. The resort is located somewhat in the forest: therefore less hot and shady. Air-conditioned rooms from 800 - 1,000 THB depending on the day of the week. The price differences on working and non-working days are due to the excess demand/supply. This has been common practice on Koh Samed for many years and does not need to be questioned.
