'Hello is that Martyn at Adventure Resort?- Yes. Hello, is that Dan?'Er.. I know it's 8am but I'm trying to leave the festival to return to your wonderful sanctuary and I can't get a taxi. What can I do?'- Sit tight Dan. I'll be there in ten minutes. Would you like breakfast by the pool?As you walk over the gantry high in the trees you'll spot a crocodile, monkeys, racoons, and an inflatable alligator in the perfectly maintained pool. You'll be treated to exquisite thai food and endless rounds of toast and jam and eggs any style (breakfast at *any* time) - and the best host I could imagine in Martyn (he ticked boxes I didn't know I had) - a charming, strong and kind hunk of a man. Nothing is too much trouble, at any time of day. He's built this place from scratch and it's a staggering accomplishment. This place makes you grin from ear to ear and I gleefully showed guests around.The bungalow I stayed in was... what's the right phrase? Stone cold pimpin'. Large lounge and kitchen, king size bed and a shower that easily accommodates two, flanked by waterways either side. The wonderful sound of the nature outside in the morning is something I'll never forget. (Well, I recorded it.)I've booked back in for December. And the next year. And the year after that. See you soon Martyn and Phil!

What a fantastic find this place is. Martin is just a total legend. He is like a telepathic butler that has taken his reptile fascination to the next dimension! Highly recommend, but don't try booking for wonderfruit because I have booked his resort out exclusively for the next 5 years! Hahaha. See you soon. Want to see more crocs and dangerous animals please!

I am a sheltered Orange County, California girl from the suburbs and found this place to be AH-MAZING! The idea of living among geckos, goats frogs, monkeys and yes, a crocodile 🐊 had me scared me out of my wits, but I soon realized I was in jungle paradise. Martin takes extra care that his property is an impeccable adventurous AND relaxing experience. He and Phil were sooooo accommodating (they both made sure my hut and bath were 🦎 free each night!) and catered to my every request. Breakfasts were yummy and prepared to order. I reluctantly write this review because I know people visiting will have the same experience and he might get too booked--but it's worth to share the beauty and love of Adventure Resort.
