I made the wrong reservation when I wanted to book in Koh Phangan, they deliberately did not respond to the massages and then did not understand so as not to reimburse me.It's really not nice so here's a little star in expiration...

Beautiful, practical bungalow with storage space and sea view.Affordable breakfast, super friendly owners.Good restaurant, try the kao soi, very good!Good plan to stay on this beach

We spent a wonderful week at Friends. The room is closed with fly screens so you can open the windows at night and let the wind in to cool you down.Be sure to try the Burmese salad in the restaurant. The location on Long Beach is perfect, the cul-de-sac with restaurants and mini market is within walking distance. We would come back :))

A beautiful bungalow complex right by the sea. We had a fantastic two weeks and will come back :) the best thing isn't even the location right on Long Beach under the palm trees, with a view of the sunset directly over the sea. And also not the own restaurant with an excellent price/performance ratio and delicious Thai and Burmese dishes and a very good pizza. No, the best are Sonja and Nicky, they run the bungalow complex with passion and are not only excellent, reserved hosts but also a travel agency, bank and infirmary. No matter the topic, they are both so helpful! Really an exceptional accommodation and our favorite on the trip to Thailand! 👍

For me there is no better accommodation on Koh Phayam than the Friends Bungalows - everything fits. Perfect location on the beach, fair prices, good and clean food and a relaxed atmosphere. Nicki and Sonja are wonderful hosts who care about the well-being of their guests. If necessary, they can also organize boat tickets from Ranong to the island or the journey from the airport - it couldn't be simpler. This was my third time there and it won't be the last time.

Everything is great! We were in the tent, quite nice and airy, with our own shower room. Only the mattress - which had a plastic undercover - was a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, it's really nice to sleep in the tent (as long as the sea isn't too loud ☺️). The family that owns it is very nice and correct, the food there is good and quite cheap. We really enjoyed it there. Fantastic location!

The entrance is a bit difficult. If riding a motorcycle is not strong, it is not recommended. The path is quite narrow and very dark.

We had a super 4 people bungalow/house right on the beach. Great view towards the water and listen to the waves at night. Good calm feeling about this place.
The owner is really helpful. They make good coffee and food you can get served to your bungalow or eat a the small restaurant with view towards the water.

We stayed in a bungalow in January 2023. I appreciated the authenticity of the place and the atmosphere that emerges there, it's zen, no hassle.The owner is great, very kind and above all truly German efficient, she explains to us very clearly how the “campus” works:- no noise between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m.- recyclable waste in such a basket,- organic waste to be given at reception- no hairdryer or kettle,- etc...The room is quite rustic, but is comfortable. We have electricity to charge our devices all night.The shower is outside, with an old-fashioned flush system.Again, it's rustic but clean.Be careful, there is no hot water here.Breakfast was very good, possibility of having a set or choice of several à la carte dishes. It's simple but it's good.The location on the beach is perfect for watching the sunset.

I love this place because the Thai and Chinese chef cooks amazing European, Thai and Chinese food, the Burma girls cook amazing food from Burma. People are very friendly and the owners are very helpful and caring. Make you feel home and enjoy your stay

Great location (right on the most beautiful beach), great people, great food and the bungalows and tents are super clean and highly recommended if you like something a little more rustic.The hosts try to make every wish possible and are also happy to help with tour planning and give tips from their extensive knowledge of Thailand. Nice personal interaction, just great people. I actually only wanted to stay two nights, but ended up being there for more than a week.

What an amazing place...This is how Thailand was 25 years ago. Great huts right on a beautiful beach. Plenty of options for food and drinks along the beach. The food at friends is absolutely fabulous. The Chef makes incredibly tasty food and the Burmese options are a nice addition to the usual menus. Definately one of the best places on this beach.
