Now I know why they called it The Blue Sky!! Check it out if you would like to experience the blue sky 🌌 It takes 1.15 hours traveling to Koh Payam from Ranong Airport, 30 minutes shuttle bus and connect to speedboat for another 45 minutes. Strawberry shot is served as a complementary drink when checking in. I stayed in R type room, the room is so spacious and equipped with necessities amenities. There is stairways right in front of the room so guests could enjoy the view outside. Free kayak and bike are available for guests. Apart from that, you can reserve skylab at the receptionist to take you around island for 3 hours costing 1,000 THB.

FIRST EVER BAD REVIEW! I only write good reviews for businesses I truly recommend, but really feel the need to warn other travelers of this hotel. We stayed in their R-“Maldives” villas and we paid THB 5,800/night for the room with breakfast.This is a very high rate, not only for Koh Phayam but for all beach destinations in Thailand during this season (we stayed in June). Not only did the resort not meet our expectations in relation to the price, but we felt it would have been shocking even at a low rate.The main concerns:1. We found a cockroach crawling over our bed first day of the stay. It was just 1 cm big but it was 110% a cockroach and I wasn’t able to sleep during the night due to it.2. Staff seemed unhappy and didn’t even look at us when passing on resort. We live in Thailand and have never experienced this before.3. Everything served on the breakfast tray was far below our expectations for a resort charging 5,800/night. Cheap toast, cold waffle, rice soup and cold overcooked scrambled eggs. 4 small pieces of fruit was the only highlight and the drinkable coffee.From arrival and during stay, we noticed unusual low service levels, some examples:1. When arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with a welcome drink but were not escorted to have a seat or even talked to. We eventually just had a seat and waited for someone to come to collect our passports and register us, but no one came. Eventually a female staff came and told us to come to their counter to give them the passports there. It would have taken her the same amount of time to just collect the passports and registered us by the counter but she insisted for us to come over to her rather than the opposite.2. We discovered that our WiFi in room didn’t work and reported it once in the room. Technicians came over to have a look and said they would restart the router for it to work. It never worked and nobody came back to check if it did. We reported it a total 4 times and the staff simply disregarded it and eventually just started to ignore us. There was wifi available if walking closer to a villa next door so it must have been just our villa. The staff probably knew and simply thought we would just be ok with the issue.3. We were given 2 bottles of water in the room and asked if this was their standard or if it was a mistake. They said they only provide with 2 bottles of water in the room per day. We found this ridiculous for a room changed at 5,800/night in low season and didn’t understand how they wouldn’t just give us 2 more bottles given there is also no minibar to buy more water nor any convenient store in close relation.4. We were given 2 body towels in room and I generally would ask for 1 more for my hair. I requested an extra towel at the reception (the female staff again) after breakfast and she confirmed understanding. When we then came back in the afternoon there was still no extra towel in the room and I went to ask the female staff for one again and she looked annoyed but confirmed understanding. No towel came and o then called to speak with the male staff and He said a towel would be delivered. Eventually 1 towel arrived to our room.We are in complete shock of how other travelers have been giving it 5-stars, raving about their food and services. We feel ripped off and hope this resort really gets their act together because the island really has some other good places with far friendlier staff and much better food offerings.We had lunch at Phayamas resort and really loved it! Friendly staff, good food, great home brewed beers, and nice resort grounds. We didn’t see the rooms but I’m sure it was ok!Furthermore, koh Phayam is pretty sad during this time of the year. Most restaurants and bars are closed and it’s feels ghostly.For this price and during this season, I would recommend any traveler to instead consider to travel to Paradise Koh Yao Noi, where you can get the same natural experience with kayaks, cute villas, amazing wildlife, convenience of travel from Bangkok and with 100 times better service!

Very good service staff, clean rooms, good atmosphere, delicious food, package 3 days 2 nights, very worth it.

Beautiful accommodation, good atmosphere, very beautiful sea view, delicious food, clean accommodation, really like it, and the staff are good, attentive, excellent. If I have a chance to go back and travel again.

I'll give it a full 10 and not deduct. Go buy a package of 3 days, 2 nights, 6 meals. There's a bicycle to ride but I didn't ride. There's a kayak paddle. Racing against time Because the water rises quickly It went down very quickly as well. If you go, you should check the high and low tides carefully, otherwise you won't see beautiful water like the picture on the page. Even though the tide was low, it was beautiful in another way. The staff were very attentive from picking up at the airport, getting off the boat, and reaching the accommodation. Even though it was past lunch time, they still provided good service. Take good care and give advice. The food is delicious, although some items are salty. The breakfast buffet has quite a lot to choose from and the taste is good. If you want to rent a motorbike, you can inform the staff. Wait 10 minutes for the car to come, fill up with gas for 45 baht, can drive everywhere such as Ao Yai, Ao Kwang Pip, Moken community, Church in the middle of the water. The weather is very hot, the accommodation is clean, the air conditioning is cool and comfortable. 2 bottles of water, tea, coffee 3 in 1, anyone who drinks a lot of water When driving around, buying water from community shops comes back for 10 baht per bottle, but the accommodation also sells Singha water for 30 baht per bottle. Oh, and in the package, they will take you on a trip to Khao Thalu as well. There was a young man from Dawei as the driver. They generously took photos from many beautiful angles. On the way back, the employees lined up and waved goodbye. The customers are also very cute. There is a chance to go again, but I will check during the high tide. The water goes down well before going 😁💕
