We have just finished an 11 day stay at this beautiful resort. Everything about Garrya Tongsai Bay was outstanding- the private location, rooms,food,service and location. Yes it costs more to stay here but it is value for money.Starting the day with breakfast in the magnificent dining room looking out onto the bush and sea beyond was a memorable experience each time.

My stay at Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui was stellar. I was traveling by myself - amongst many couples and a few families - and I still had a lovely time. The gorgeous room was spotless, all the staff (restaurants, drivers, housekeeping, front desk) were VERY kind and helpful, the property itself is gorgeous, and the overall vibe is peace and relaxation. If you're looking for a mega resort, this is not the place - this is a lovely boutique property with a few restaurants and bars and you get the personalized service to match the smaller scale. Only thing to note, and it won't affect all guests, but if any folks have mobility issues or challenges with a lot of steps, I would inquire about the rooms that are easiest to access and plan on using the easy-to-use golf cart shuttles to move about the property. I would gladly go back but if I never get the chance, I'm still grateful for the memories from my short trip.

Our unfortunately short stay in this hotel was perfect all around and we felt very comfortable at all times. It is a wonderful, very well maintained and clean hotel complex. The rooms are very stylish and modern, offer enough space and are also very clean. We felt at home.The breakfast had a great selection of diverse food and drinks (including freshly mixed smoothies/juices).When we arrived we felt very welcome. There was free water available 24 hours a day throughout the hotel complex.The location of the hotel is nice and quiet, so we were able to relax well in such a short time. Thanks to a rented scooter we were able to easily explore the island. But some shops and restaurants are also within walking distance.Particularly noteworthy is the super helpful and always friendly and attentive staff. The service provided there is truly exceptional!Many thanks to the entire hotel team and the great work you do every day. We will definitely come back and for longer! Keep it up :-)

The hotel offers a beautiful beach, private bay, and breathtaking views on overall lovely grounds. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the free water sports equipment is a nice perk. However, the restaurants and services such as massages are overpriced. I recommend heading out. We couldn't help but feel that the property could be in a touch better shape, with some aging infrastructure in need of maintenance. The lovely reception area, overlooking the bay, is wasted space that could be a great bar. While the staff is friendly, they only offer superficial recommendations about the area.

My stay was amazing. The rooms were great. Beach was beautiful and serene. Service was exceptional. Breakfast was great. Overall, couldn't recommend this place more!Only potential caveat is that accessibility to rest of the island is limited. But if you are looking to just stay in the resort for the whole stay, this won't be a big issue.
