A very clean and tidy place, the food is homemade and indescribably delicious, Hwanchai and Holger hosted us as if we were family members and took care of us like children with a taxi from the airport and the next morning to the port, thank you very much we will come back and definitely recommend!

A clean, quiet and spacious guest house in a warm family atmosphere in an excellent location near the ferry to the islands. We stayed one night two families with children. Olger, the owner of the place, a champion English and German speaker, welcomed us with open arms. He took care of everything including transportation from the field to it and the next day he jumped us to the ferry. His wife Khwanchai prepared dinner and a tasting breakfast. It is also possible to visit observation points in the area and nearby beaches, which unfortunately we did not have time to reach.warmly recommended! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

We stayed one night before the ferry to Koh Phangan.The hospitality was lovely.The hosts are very kind, very helpful and helped us with every question with a lot of patience.There was a feeling of a warm and cozy home.The homemade food was excellent.Highly recommend.If we return to the area this will be our choice without a doubt!Thank you very much Holger and your wife.

The hosts are wonderful, nothing is a problem, very relaxed environment had a great day out with Holger who showed me around, we went to caves the biggest Buda in Thailand and a few other spots, i would recommend as Don Sat is a quiet town and if you google search things not much comes up so its food to have a local show you the secrets.I really was very happy with my stay here.I am sure others will be too

We stayed at the Khwahol Guesthouse for a week, we felt very comfortable, we looked at the beautiful landscape on a scooter we rented from Holger. Luckily it's not as overcrowded there as in the tourist strongholds, there are also beautiful, secluded beaches with small restaurants, so if you are looking for a few days of peace and quiet with very good Thai and German cuisine, Holger and Khwanchai are in great hands, we will spend a few days in the Khwahol Guesthouse when we are near Don Sak again, thank you for the lovely stay Time

Khwahol Guesthouse definitely exceeded our expectations! Very clean and cheap accommodation. We were treated to a Massaman curry in the evening, freshly prepared by Holger's wife, very tasty.The breakfast was also super good and varied, with different types of homemade bread, eggs, fruits, cheese, etc.We found Holger to be very committed and warm to his guests. Great guy! He even offers a boat tour to see dolphins, which we would definitely have booked if we had more time.Thanks Holger and maybe see you again soon! Stefan & Laura

A lovely place. The owner is great. A lovely couple who opened their house into two and three guest rooms. It is true that the location is not central but it turns out that there are many interesting things to do in the area but all the tourists just skip on their way to the islands. The rooms are clean at an abnormal level. I'm talking about exceptional cleanliness. The floor sparkles. The place is modest, the room is modest, the location is perfect for those who want the ferry. But the place is just polished. We arrived very late at night and they were waiting for us with a smile at the entrance. All the beds we requested were waiting in the room. Refrigerator with drinks, snacks if desired. And everything is clean, quiet, modest and charming. In the morning we only asked for fruit because we are vegetarians. So in the morning we went downstairs and a table was waiting for us with two large plates of pineapple, watermelon and other fruits. Good coffee and hard-boiled eggs that they collected that morning from the chickens they have in the yard. great experience Even a small and clean pool. In the morning he took us to the ferry for a nominal fee and even made us a trip and a stop for an amazing view of the bay and a beautiful temple on the mountain. No words. warmly recommended.

What a top stay. Holger and his wife not only have a top stay, but really want to do everything to make you feel comfortable. We stayed here with a family with 2 small children for 2 nights to travel on to ko tao. In the in-between day we checked out the area with Holger and he took us to all kinds of beautiful sights. Breakfast is top, but the evening cuisine is even much better. Especially the specially made sharp dish was top ;-). Holger also offers transfer from airport and to ferry at very reasonable rates. Swimming pool is also very nice and refreshing.

Stayed for a night before hitting the pier and heading to the island. It's family owned and they really love their town. He showed us around before going to the pier and there's a ton of stuff to do and see. He convinced us to come out and check the local area and we're for sure staying here when we do. Absolutely lovely place and lovely people.
