Lovely experience beginning to end, right on river bank surrounded by greenery. Good food and spacious accommodation. Hosts were kind and gave us free lifts plus they arranged our transport to ko tao. Would definitely recommend :)

Excellent getaway for introverts. For those who miss party vibe owners provide free shuttle to Khao Sok village. Place with unique atmosphere. Restaurant on site with Thai food, sandwiches and most amazing banana pancakes.Rainy season can swim in the river, dry season can wade the river.Perfect beds and room setup(all AC). Perfect for solo, couple travel. Most quiet and best value for money. Will come again! 😀🍀

Excellent getaway with tours by the river and free shuttle to Khao Sok village.|Rooms are comfy, big soft bed, AC and rate is good.|Hotel is not in Khao Sok village but there is free pickup shuttle in the evening.|The owners are very helpful and accommodating|Will definitely come back.

I highly recommend this hotel BUT not the excursions.Superb location, really welcoming and kind staff, the restaurant is simply delicious!! The rooms were great too.HOWEVERThe excursions are lousy. Really overpriced for what it is. We have been traveling in Thailand for almost a month and we have never seen anything like this. Almost 1h30 late for departure, we had to visit the 700m diamond cave, we were treated to a 100m cave for a duration of 10 min. The trek in the forest is expected to last 40 minutes and is actually a walk of max 500m with a stop every 3 seconds. Swimming and kayaking? At noon sharp in full sun in a ridiculous limited area. Instead of mid-afternoon, that’s what we started with. The meal... forced seating at a table of 6, but not the same table as my companion (ok) and the equivalent of 4 portions for 6. That said, it is possible to eat by yourself in the restaurant, a bit more expensive than the city but normal given the location. So in the end, hours of waiting, traveling, 10 minutes in the cellar and 30 minutes on site in the forest.The place is magnificent, incredible, it really, really saves the day. In short, to avoid.

My stay at Khao Sok River Camp was disappointing from the start. The promised transportation from the airport never materialized, and when we called, the resort failed to take responsibility, blaming their transportation partner. The resort itself was poorly maintained and dirty, with the added inconvenience of the closed restaurant due to staffing issues. We had to arrange our own transportation to find food in town. Mosquitoes were abundant, and the poor lighting made matters worse. Unfortunately, I cannot find any positive aspects to highlight, and I would not recommend others to stay at this resort.

Good quality/price hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.Overall the staff understood a bit of english but if dealing with tours or information is best to speak with Gam, she speak good english and is very helpful, we booked the 1 day lake tour (1500 per person) thru the hotel and was all well organized and nice. Also thru the hotel got arranged our transfer to Phuket old city in shared minivan for 800THB per person. To arrive at the hotel from Surat Thani airport we used a private transfer service from there that costed 1600THB. All meals are added to the bill at checkout.

We booked the accomodation well in advance but a few hours before arrival they cancelled our stay…They mentioned via email that the AC is not working, but after a phone call it turned out the room was given to someone else…This caused major inconvenience for us because we had booked many other activities in Khao Sok.So, the accomodation seems nice, but the customer service is bad.

We had a great one night stay. There is one woman who can speak and understand English. She helped us figure out how to get to Koh Tao and boon our tour to khao sok. The next day we wanted to stay one more night but they were fully booked. She offered us to gives us a ride to the new resort. Very hoof service in a nutshell

The location along the river is a lovely place to relax. Good value for money.These low ratings reflect the bitter taste left after the manager hung up the phone saying that “I’m wasting her time.” when I tried to give her feedback.The staff were mostly helpful except for 3 points of miscommunication (I am Thai so language was not a problem):1. Making us wait for 30 mins for the evening transfer to town2. Misinformation on our rooming for the national park3. Arranging our transfer from Khao Sok to Ranong and confirming the wrong boat time.When I called to give feedback on the miscommunication, the manager got defensive and angry and started to blame me for not planning my trip better. She said that if I wanted my expectations met, that I should have booked a more expensive hotel. That for the price I paid, that’s what I get 🤔Again, if you’re looking for a basic room in a relaxing location this is your place. Do not depend on them to organize your trip or you might be disappointed with a lot of miscommunication and unmet promises.

Very unresponsive attitude to customers. We booked a room on the phone 4 days in advance. A few hours before the trip we were told that all the rooms were occupied. The hotel let us down and ruined all our plans for the weekend. This is not the way to work.

I stayed here with my son for 3 nights and had a wonderful time.The beautiful riverside location is lush and green and the constant background of nature’s beautiful music is just the best soul food.We ate here on 3 or 4 occasions and the food was fresh and delicious.The staff are very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended 😊

It was the worst experience for service. Me and my girlfriend booked through Agoda from 13/02/2023. To stay, check in 18, check out 19 /02/2023, but when we arrived at the accommodation, we were told that the room was full, there were customers who came to stay and then went down the dam and left their bags and belongings in the room and still haven't come back for us to find. New accommodation, you do this and have no responsibility to the customers at all. I have driven over four hundred kilometers and encountered this kind of situation. I can only say that the service here is the worst (if the person who booked is a woman, I'm alone and I arrive at my accommodation after dark and I encounter something like this. What should I do?) Anyone who plans to stay here, check carefully first in order to not come across a situation like this again.

VERY VERY BAD SERVICES, Booked a room with Agoda but the owner said today ( Saturday 18 February) the guests still not come back from the dam and theirs luggages are still in the room. We have to find another hotel, all that after doing 450 kms. This is unacceptable and I will write a complaints to Agoda for their bad services. 👎 👎👎👎👎
