Me and my husband had a very nice stay in this hotel, it is very central and a very short walk to the beach. The workers are very kind and helpfull especially Lek the hotel manager she is top notch and very kind and gives us all the information we needed whenever we ask her and she always greets us with a smile anytime of the day when she sees us. The food in the restaurant is also very delicious. Thank you for a fun and comfortable stay :)

I've been traveling for a few months now and I don't remember writing a bad post about a place but here I had to write the service was very, very shocking. We had a blockage in the toilet. Simple rooms. At the entrance it is written that the check-out is at 12 and we were told that it is at 11 and every extra hour is 200 bahtIf you also want good experiences on the trip, then don't come to this hotel, there are 2 excellent hotels nearby

No electricity and no water. They say it’s a general problem of the island, it’s ok, I understand, but I would like to leave. Charge me for one night and I’ll go for the rest of my stay somewhere else. They don’t give you the money back. There’s no one to speak with. The only person downstairs says she’s only an employee and nothing she can do. The rate for the room is high and you don’t have the basic services. I’m very disappointed with this place and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. Many other places, better and cheaper. Place also seems very old and not taken care of.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :-)My boyfriend, Rikki, and I loved our stay at Golden Monkey! The location is perfect, the beach is just across the road, great places to eat & drink, close to the shopping centre. The room was big, clean & comfortable, had good aircon & WiFi. The owners are so lovely & welcoming & also very helpful, not to forget their VERY cute dog! The service is great - you can rent a bike without leaving your passport with them, they provide laundry services & they have a bar where you can buy drinks & they also serve breakfast too. We highly recommend staying here!! :-)

Ideal for those who are used to camping... You will certainly feel comfortable here.. No lift, stairs with Cinderella steps, rough cleaning and only on request, as is the change of towels..

We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Monkey. Everything is near by and there are some really good restaurants around the corner, like the Tandoori palace or the hungry wolf. Not to forget the very cheap and good crystal Restaurant right next to it.The service at the hotel was amazing, we felt welcome from the first second and the rooms are clean and comfy.Would come back every time.

The hotel is located on a very busy street, so it is of course a bit noisy in the evenings. But I was still able to sleep. We received a very friendly welcome and an airport transfer was organized for us. The bathroom is a bit strange because there is no separate shower and the whole toilet is wet after showering, but everything is clean and absolutely fine for the price.

A nice small hotel with 200m to the beach. The nice atmosphere and the bar with P' June and P' Kwan made me feel very welcomed, anything that I asked for was arranged and they gave information about when and where to go. If you're interested in watching Thai Boxing the arena is just 200m away, if you're into bar life this is also a perfect spot as it's not in the middle of the noise so that you actually can relax at the hotel room. I will definitely come back to Golden Monkey Samui when I return to Samui.
