2 stars? No matter how it is! I would give it 4, only for the lack of the usual attributes of 5 star hotels in the form of breakfast in the room, etc. Very comfortable location - at the intersection of all the main transport arteries of Tao. Competent staff. The girl at the reception is simply a mega-professional: she knows everything, will tell you everything, will make your stay as comfortable as possible, very helpful. We had problems purchasing tickets for the Lompraya ferry a few days before departure; the tickets were not available on the company's website. So she recommended an agent who not only had them in stock, but also brought them to our hotel within a couple of hours, otherwise I don’t know how we would have made it on time for the plane. Overall, thank you very much! Now about the hotel itself.Pros: hot water without interruptions, air conditioning without complaints, a balcony in each room - convenient for drying clothes, but it would be nice to have some kind of rope or hooks. Large bed and a hard, good mattress, my back didn't hurt. Cleaning every day, but don't forget to put up a sign! The hotel has a lounge on the second floor, where there is a large TV, a work area and you can get hot water. When entering, you need to take off your shoes, as in most Asian places, but here the flooring is artificial grass, which is why your feet do not collect dirt and debris, everything is clean and very pleasant to your feet. Super! The hotel is very quiet. There is a restaurant with a good menu, we went for dinner a couple of times and liked it. You can separately order real coffee for breakfast inexpensively, which is what we did every morning. The hotel has a motorbike rental, where we rented for a week our best bikes that we have ever rented all over the world - Yamaha Aerox. Good handling and reliable brakes are what you need on local serpentines. There is a store below the hotel where you can buy groceries and manufactured goods.Of the minuses, I would probably note that not all residents take off their shoes upon entering, but this is not the hotel’s fault, but the cultural characteristics of the guests. I would also consider breakfast as a minus. There are three types of them and after three days they became unbearable, already because they have an Asian feature: salted butter, sweet mayonnaise, sweet sausages. Perhaps most of the guests are local, but for a European person this is a strange taste, so I would like a more universal option. The hotel also has its own free shuttle from the pier and back, which can also take you to the beach twice a day.But in general, I have only a positive impression about the hotel, and if I come to Ko Tao again, then only go there - it’s cheap and cheerful.
