Chean-Chean House is what every guesthouse hopes to be. We stayed here for three nights and looked forward to the warm welcome from the hostess every day when we came downstairs or returned from an activity in the beautiful surroundings.The room was very clean, the floor was shiny and the bed was wonderful. The balcony offers a beautiful view of a temple.The hostess offered us a great schedule on her own initiative for our three days in Chiang Rai, which included all the places you must see when you are in the north of Thailand, really great.In the morning we were welcomed every morning with a smile, fresh fruit (including delicious bananas from our own garden) and other delicacies from the market. Even though we had not booked accommodation with breakfast, we left every morning with a full stomach and a bag of bananas for the road!In short, the very best accommodation available in Thailand and definitely worth a visit. We regretted that we could not stay longer and had a wonderful time.

The house is near this place. The villagers said that it was very good..all three points mentioned above..Congratulations on having people stay and see the culture in the village..

Nice house with 4 rooms and perfect services.
Pool, shared lounge with free caffe and tea. Ask the owner for guided tours, motorbike rentals and suggestions what to visit in/nearby Chiang Rai.

I’ll join the other reviews to say that this place is awesome. The room is nice, tidy, the bathroom is fine but on top of all, it is the welcoming atmosphere and the niceness of the host that needs to be highlighted. She was so thoughtful and even took time to play with our 18 months old daughter, landing her toys etc.

Beautiful place at an amazing price. Didn't expect it to be so clean and tidy like in the pictures but it totally was. The owner was super friendly and helped us with everything. The rooms are quite spacious and the terrace is very nice. Old style furniture but everything is in prime condition. Don't think about it any more and just book it! Best place in Chiang Rai.
